Is Atlus feeling alright? Adding a new demon, multiple new navigators, a new quest, and new music in a free update is definitely not what I expected. I for sure thought this would’ve been 20$ DLC or something like that. Us SMT fans are just winning I guess.
I want a raidou 3. Been playing through the first 2 games for the past 2 months and I've been loving them. Especially the 2nd game, it's definitely one of my new favorite megaten games now and I don't even like action RPGs.
Out of left field but welcome new content. Goko without joking, probably has around the same amount of dialogue here in this 1 quest than he has in either route. It does give us new details and it pins transcendent Lucifer as a Buddha-like figure and by extension Young Man becomes one as such after he defeats him.
Wait, that's actually huge lore wise right? The only other protagonist to be considered Buddha-Like in lore is The Demi-Fiend (Miroku) so this is pretty huge if I'm not mistaken
Don't be surprised if that's testing waters for a new superboss or even route. The infodump in this quest alone puts things on a whole new perspective.
Her resistances are actually amazing, I'm debating whether or not I should build around physical or ice for Marici, but she does have a signature physical skill, so I might just go that route.. ALSO HER THEME IS SO GOOD!!. I'm hoping we get more dlc later down the lines, hoping they free Krishna and Maitreya from those uncunt realms
You should always build around the demon's unique, unless their unique is straight ass like Satan's. Marici's unique is really good, so definitely build around it by stacking passives. Be sure to give her one mirage skill tho in case enemies don't pierce so you can still use her unique well, as well as impaler's animus because of her lack of pierce.
@@wubbawubba3396 Dude.. when I saw Megido ark compared to how decent it was in Apocalypse, I couldn't fuckin believe it.. that sick ass animation, for it to be wasted on a multiplier gimmick. Hell, I would have rather it do 666 damage for the lore call, but nah, Satan and Lucifers signature skills are so ass.. 😭. I'm definitely thinking about running physical for Marici, and maybe impalers animus, I have Hayataro with 999 luck+fogna and omagatoki hit as well. I'm hoping we get more DLC like this, I love SMTV Vengeance and megaten as a whole so much.
@@skydivisionx Yeah, it's funny that literally only 1/3 of this games' superbosses are actually really good (1/4 if we count Lucifer, but I don't cuz you don't exactly fight him). At least Masakado makes up for the other two in spades for how good he is. Demi isn't bad, but he kinda is bad on godborn... A hayatoro with fogna sounds kinda funny, but I'm not one to judge demon builds, especially considering I have a oyamatsumi that nulls all + high ice pleroma and ice pleroma. I'm honestly also really hoping for more free dlc, and I'm personally hoping for more Chinese demons like Lanling Wang, Huang Di, Guan Yu, or Qitian Dasheng.
@@wubbawubba3396 I've honestly been tinkering with builds since godborn has had me in the farming trenches, I have Hayataro as my primary ailment user with his luck being 999 and omagatoki hit boosting ailment priority further, I'm going to attempt to run him alongside marici. Ouya is so good when paried up with Konohana Sakuya for that sweet heal, I'm also praying that we get more free DLC, as I'd love to put even more time into this game, its so amazing. Masakado is also the best out of the superbosses for sure, his innate and damage is just cracked tf out
@@skydivisionx Oh btw, I'm not sure if you know this because a lot of the people I talk to don't, but you don't actually need to have all the demons required for a unique magatsuhi skill in your active party to use it. As long as they're in your stock, it can be used. So, blossoming sakura can be used even tho oya is just in your stock and konohana is in your active party. Same for other magatsuhi skills like Dagda's and Danu's, or Thor's and Odin's.
I wonder what happens if two Maricis attack one another with a Piercing attack. Would their unique passive skill just continue to trigger against each other?
Navi already unlocked in game after some specific quest like rescue Idun etc, the problem is they all same useless as normal navi, Decarabya still best navi or cheaper Hua Po from CoC story. Diference only in skins and your choice with who play. Music not checked, not like it anyway.

For those that may not be aware, this DLC coincided with Diwali, Hindu festival of lights, so it's safe to say that it is related to it.
