You look great in most of them. The brown blouse has a nice contrast with your skin complexion. I like how it looks on you. The dress is really cute.

Girl 9?! You are unhinged and I love it. 🤣 The mermaid skirt is so cute, but if it was a size bigger I think it would suit you more. I hate clothes clinging to me as well, I like them more loose so I can breathe. The purple crop sweater looks adorable on you, but I don't think the green one really suits your style. That blue skirt is soooo adorable on you. The brown shirt I think you should get rid of though lol. And the striped shirt actually looks really cute on you. I think because it's huge it doesn't necessarily make you look bigger, but actually smaller. Idk these are just my two cents since you're contemplating. Hope this helps! ♥️

For the crop top if you like the color and feel you could wear an under shirt tucked into high rise pants or skirt.
For any of the sweater tucking them in your skirt or pants would give you more shape. Also I think with the blouse wearing them with overall or dresses of that does similar style could make a cute outfit. But of course you should do what make you feel amazing.

The green cardigan and the purple top were cute (Earth, Music and Ecology)! You could wear them outside or be super dressed up at home.

Also, I had no idea American Holic was so good???? I've glanced through there a couple of times but nothing has ever jumped out at me. But that skirt!!!! That cardigan!!!! So cute!! And I love the striped top. It seems different from your usual style, so maybe that's why you're conflicted? But it looks cute!! I'd wear it with skinny jeans or track pants and sneakers.
I like the earth music and ecology bag in theory...actually the lavender cropped sweater is my favorite from that bag! The dress and coat are pretty, too!
If you buy the same brands' lucky bags next year, it might be interesting to do a quick update somewhere in the video about the clothes from last year. If you kept them, donated/gifted/sold them, how many times you wore them, etc.

Oh wow, 9! I'm excited for all the videos to come! Also personally I get so picky with my clothes and how they fit me, that I feel like I won't be brave enough to ever go for a fashion fukebukoro haha.
As an under-average-height bottom heavy girl crop tops are a blessing but only cause they fit me like a normal top most of the time haha. A bunch of the stuff you got are really cute and look great on you! I actually quite liked the way you fit the green cardigan, but if you feel it's not really your style, then yeah... Personally a lot of the time I get great feedback on more feminine, formal wear which is okay but just doesn't feel like me or make me feel comfy, so even if it does look good I can say from experience the way it makes you feel is the most important.

I legit don't think that the striped sweater makes you look wider AT ALL!! It looks really cute! And I'm absolutely obsessed with the dress and green cardigan! Please keep the cardigan even if it's just to wear over one-pieces like that dress! Having the bottom of the cardigan fall at/around your natural waistline rather than longer like towards your hips actually really helps emphasize your natural good proportions!! 🤩

Whomever put together the Earth Music Eco bag did GOOD! If only I knew I was getting something comparable to that in every lucky pack! She should put together pocket wardrobes (like capsule wardrobes only smaller) and sell them. I would definitely buy one!! They’d be great for when your luggage doesn’t make it to your destination with you or you’re just too lazy to pack and figure out what you need. Like, three mix-and-match outfits (basically what you got w this). Perfect 👌
Edit: Ooo wow the Americanholic was great, too! You should definitely wear the striped cardi out bc it’s NICE! It doesn’t make you look big, it kind of does the opposite bc it’s oversized and it’s really cute. You look little and snuggly in it.

Here in the states there are mystery boxes / bags. My wife loves them. But it's like you said, you never know what you're really going to get.
I would keep the green tea / wasabi colored top. It went well with the dress.

The second bag was excellent!! Everything fit so well. Maybe you can keep the brown shirt by wearing a sweater/jumper over it or wear it with the cardigan and a scarf. I heard on the TV programme QI that horizontal stripes actually make someone look smaller.

Maybe it's call American Holic because they're more like American sizes. The stripe shirt looks nice, you should definitely keep it. The crop items look good too, if they're comfortably keep them.🙂 thanks for sharing
The striped top was a total win. I know what they say about horizontal stripes, but what's the alternative? Vertical stripes (eww)? The brighter beige and white really brightened up your face, whereas that beige-ish grayish shirt...did not. I hate that color and don't think it looks good on anyone. The brown color looks good on you, but that style...hmm.
Oh and here's a question, when you want to get rid of clothes in Japan, what do you do? Trade with friends? Or what? Every year my kindergarten in Japan would have a bazaar and I couldn't wait to donate my unwanted clothes to it--I sneakily got rid of some of my husband's clothes that way, lol.
Do Japanese companies not make clothing for any size but petite? I’m 5’6 I’m a 8-10 uk on top and 6 waist. I genuinely don’t buy from most Asian countries because of the short arm thing, but why don’t they make for all sizes? Surely there are fuller or Curvier figured Japanese women too?

I wish we had these clothes lucky bags in the states and lots of other things in japan like transportation, safety are, clean streets crafftman crafts, politeness & kindnes that could be abroad anything what’s the name of the clothing that you’re wearing will your unbaging it looks cute? Do you know the name of the dress or onesie or outfit will your unbaging want to know?!
The striped top looks so comfortable, especially with the white cardigan. And you really should wear brown; it is in your color pallet and goes with so many of your other items in your wardrobe. Don't button the neck button. The blue skirt doesn't fit in, but of course looks comfortable for spring. Are lucky bags available only at certain times? or are they always available? I think you looked awesome in all the stuff from American-Holic(?) but the coat from the first shop is cute too. I wonder if you tried high-belting the stripped sweater you might think about wearing it out.

I have a question. What do you plan to do with the clothing you don't want. You said you would get rid of what you don't like/doesn't fit. Yes they are lucky bags and supposed to value for money. But what an utter waste, of clothing and money. With tons of unwanted and returned clothing being dumped in landfill, this video is just a representation of excess consumerism.
That cropped lavender sweater was cute and looked good on you. You should keep it. That brown blouse, is a hell-no from me. The cut is unflattering and unfortunately it reminds me of prison garb from movies.

I liked everything except for the mermaid skirt, the first beige blouse, and the brown top. The color livened up your complexion and the crop style was flatterring. You could layer them with a tank or tee

It's a myth that all horizontal strap make you look bigger! This shirt really looks good on you, especially because it's quite boxy and it has a drop shoulder! Use it, it looks good on you!
In general buying clothes is a challenge in Japan, since the sizes are made for slender people.
An advice to you Allison, when you buy a garment in Japan, measure the width of your shoulders, and you won't have a problem with the length of the sleeves.

Horizontal stripes on someone your size is fine, you don’t look big in it. The cropped tops are good over things like dresses. The second bag looks best but there are some good things in the first one too. 👍🏼🙋🏼♀️
Would you consider paying a tailor to alter some of your most-liked pieces? It is more money; however, you may find a perfect fit🤔
It would be nice if there was a group or community that you could exchange unwanted items from these bags. If not everything was your style, it may be someone else's and you could swap at least some of them.

I love Lucky bags! Anything in the camel department is full on down the run waves this year coming up. The crop shirts do you wear the big old man shirt under them. That’s why I like them so much.

I hate cropped too, but like to pair them with dresses that are beautiful on the bottom but have a strap situation I don't like. That way I can turn two great pieces with a deadly flaw into an outfit that includes some of the trend.

The clothes look nice on you! Just gotta tuck them in right. wear higher waisted bottoms and tuck the crop tops in or wear a belt higher up and use it to tuck crop shirts under it.
With the purple cropped try it with a neutral beige dress it it will look cut and if you add a belt. The green cropped keep and again where witha neutral dress

Love the black and white stripe and it does not make you look larger so if you would want you could always put a sweater over it like a sweater vest even but what a nice pair of little black pants are black skirt that would look very cute and it looked good on you too
