Upper deck was such a great company in the 90s/00s. Really cool card designs and always innovating. Really sad they lost their licenses to the fraudsters at panini. People would be losing their shit for an spx Steph curry auto or a Patrick mahomes black Diamond quad
You forgot that Kobe autos were Upper Deck exclusive, so Jordan, Lebron and Kobe carried the UD. While in 00s Topps had Shaq and Tim Duncan (and added Wade in 04-05 season) and Fleer had Vince Carter (Iverson was also but for very short period). So yeah Upper Deck made crazy picks compared to others in the 00s

Even more surprised w/ #1 and also that the jersey # 💎 (#7) didn't sell for much more. Last note, BGS encased #10 the wrong way for a horizontal card, maybe just me but that would drive me nuts! lol
