    The music is a reflection of the artists, such is reflected in their seeking enlightenment. Those who seek the truth and are willing to flow with the ever accelerating currents in this ocean of existence will have such wisdoms reflected in their passions.
    Shpongle is truly the outcome of wisdom seekers gathered with the intent of expressing the essence and it's many layers and patterns- the result of pure love poured into such intention is the permeating peace and understanding that is revealed.

    These guys are the holy trinity of trance.
    Simon and Benji are geniuses with computers and sounds... and Raja talking could have inspired Einstein and Leonardo da Vince, had he lived in those days.

      You are a life saver!! I’ve been hunting down Simon’s plug ins.. and this was one of them. Would you know if this was also what he used to distort Raj’s voice? As of today, His Facebook shows a video of them behind the scenes and Raj talking about a hippy moving in next door (lol) and it seems to look like this... but at the same time not.

      @@RJ-pv4sc I read in the comments that it's a UAD plugin but I also couldnt find which one. I'm very interested in your hunt, what other plugins have you found so far?

    • @RJ-pv4sc
      @RJ-pv4sc 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thaDjMauz Well we know the trippy one is Audio Damage’s Automaton. Works amazing to get that EP’s (God Particle) sound as well as some sounds we later hear in Museum of Consciousness.
      I have also found... being digital (Simon uses like mainly analogs) Izotrope Stutter 2 has insane effects close to many of the synth and glitch effects they’ve used in many albums.
      So for a quick list:
      Audio damage - Automaton
      Izotrope - Stutter 2
      Also get a great compressor. The quality of Shpongle is revered because they mix so well. Compressors, EQ and mixing in -6DB will do wonders on your percussive and instrumentation’s. Like you can even run a test by using one of their best mixed tracks (anything off Nothing Lasts or Tales of Inexpressible) and you’ll see how if you up their tracks DB it’ll sound.... dramatically different.
      But yes, for those crazy effects in the God particle That’s all I know. Most of Simon’s tools and Magic’s are and probably will forever be a mystery.

    I was a big fan of Quintessence in the early seventies and Raja's flute playing was a key ingredient to that sound. Personally I prefer the stuff he did then but he has become a truly remarkable being over the years, as I've just found out by listening to a few of his monologues,so obviously he's happier now doing what he's doing.

    @Clusterfrog It's Cellular Automata Sequencer, a software that apply to sounds the same approach of artificial life simulator, like some cells that evolve generation after generation. For other synth with biological algorithms I advise you also Axon (Audio Damage), a drum synth with neural sequencer, and Synplant, that creates crazy sounds with genetic modification of some seeds that grow into synth patches. Enjoy ;)

    That dream about the giraffe sounds like a night mare. When I was a child I had dreams about giraffes liquefying and they were horrific nightmares, I had to be sent into a two year therapy with Anneliese Pestel. I called her up on the phone when I was 5 and said to her: "Can you make my nightmares go away?". I was suffering. The thing with me is I don't need shrooms to see things. And what I see often scares me. I like your music, it is what I have always known already in my own phantasy.

Especially when they when they started losing sales n America I remember KISS practically lost America by 1980,'' But australia in 1980 was into KISS like America was in the 70s They got huge down under..By 1980 reading a hit parader on kiss was like they were dated and on there way out..They made a good comeback in 84...To me psytrance sound has not grown since the 90s? Some of the science and music theory was off in the video (fmaj7 3rd inversion), but the products are generally amazing.
    @Astrolopitekos it was dubbed the "god particle" by the media to hype it up. It's a pretty important particle (origin of mass, and thus in turn, the cause of gravity if you're going by the relativity spacetime fabric and spatial distortions).
