  • The NTS-1 and Volca Drum are a Great Combo!
Today I realized that I haven't paired up the Korg NTS-1 with my new Korg Volca Drum yet! The Volca Drum is already an incredible sound design tool by itself, but combining it with the effects from the NTS-1 turns the Drum into an absolute powerhouse of a drum machine! We'll definitely be returning to this great combo soon. Enjoy the video :)

Another new genre- ambient drum. You really need to sample this stuff into your MPC and keep building on this. It sounds great!

really awesome sci-fi and space horror sounds, now We just need the movie for the visuals. Sound design and experimentation needs further exploring with these two devices

Most TH-cams don't include their mixer or audio interface and that had me confused from my early beginnings with synths. It started by thinking that MIDI was a sound, to realising MIDI sort of clocked but the sound could just be paired through an audio in, to realising my headphone only had one jack and the audio in didn't pair but just mingled it all untill the voices where depleted. Thanks to your post about the Livetrack I finally realised my own stupidity. I needed a mixer/AI. So now one year after starting this beautiful hobby a new, I got myself a mixer (soundcraft MTK12). And now here I am wondering why my volca drum is so silent (or noisy with the gain all up) while the minibrute 2 sheds it darkness onto the tracks. You've shown me the light before, please guide us again :)

For me volca drum is much more for ambient than for drumming
