Maybe just my preference, but I'm more drawn to those "messy" pages you drew than the neat ones. I really like when sketchbooks feel like diaries, in the manner it shows me the artist's psyche through the art, lil notes, collages, etc; or even the moments in their lives they're experiencing.
Have you read The Artist's Way? It's all about what the author calls 'creative recovery' and it's really helped me overcome some of the obstacles and blocks you talked about in this video. The author gets pretty spiritual with it which kind of put me off at times, but the creative lessons are amazing
i've heard a lot about it from other artists online rn! it seems interesting but yeah the spirituality really isn't for me. i'm workign on healing in my own way right now and i think it's going well, but i might give that book a try one day!!

I try to do art everyday, some days I have to settle for a tiny amount of "markmaking"...BUT IT STILL COUNTS!!!❤❤
