    I hate people. Everyone talks about how "LeBron needed help to win a ring"...oh, and MJ didn't? Pippen (best defender in the league), Rodman (best rebounder in NBA history), Kerr (best shooter in the league), Kukoch (best euro in the league), Phil Jackson, (greatest coach EVER). Those bulls teams were so good, that when Jordan retired the first time, they won 57 games the following year without him. In game 7 of last years finals, Bosh, Allen and Mike Miller combined for 0 points. Don't give me this bullshit about how everybody is helping lebron collect rings.

    I don't care what you say the only person you could compare to MJ is Lebron. Look at these highlights he can score anyway possible and he can pass better than anyone else. I don't care King James is the GOAT!.

      Call me when Lebron wins 6 championships. The 2nd doesnt count. I could show you proof of that. Also if jordan could play with the flu ( and dont tell me playing with the flu is easy because the flu makes your bones weaker and reduces your energy. Then why couldnt lebron play with a messed up nose. Because a nose really affects how you play. Jordan in his lifetime has averaged way more points than lebron. If we base the GOAT on points a season. There is Durant Kobe and even Wilt Chamberland. Wilt averaged 50 points a game in a season. So there is now way in hell you could compare lebron to jordan

    • @angelluis762
      @angelluis762 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why are you making the flu seem like a thing that 1 out of 100 people get. I was comparing the fact that lebron couldnt play with a measley broken nose but jordan had the flu and could play through it. Lebron left the game with cramps but kobe wanted to keep playing after tearing his achilles. Call me when Lebron doesnt leave a team to win championships. Jordan led his team when it was him george gervin and charles oakley. Jordan could of left. But did he. no. and thats when their team came in to play and won 6 championships.

    • @thebogg5how
      @thebogg5how 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Angel Tirado first of all having a broken nose completely affects how you olay just like the flu. Having a broken nose makes it extremely hard to breathe during a game and from personal experience it is very difficult to breathe through your mouth running full speed up and down the court. Secondly lebron is a better passer and rebounder than jordan. Third lebrons career is nowhere near over. He has about 8-10 seasons left in which he only needs to win 4 more rings to tie mj. That number seems very realistic. Fourth in my opinion jordan is still the goat because of his defense and his drive and passion when if came down to crunchtime. However the many flaws in your argument pissed me off enough to comment this.

    I am the biggest LeBRON fan but as a fan you really need to come to realize he will never become better than Jordan. The stuff that MJ did is most likely never to be done again by any human. With the rules, officiating, game changing a player like MJ will probably never come along. NOW WITH THAT SAID!!! Mr. LeBRON The King JAMES is THE second greatest basketball player to pick up a basketball, whether you agree or disagree facts, stats, and the truth bestows itself and that's just the truth. By the month of June 2014 LeBRON James will have his 3rd ring by that time. God bless #Striveforgreatness

    He has lost a tiny bit of spring this yr.
    But man this guy is playing so efficient and he is choosing very wise shots. I think people forget that the key to his efficiency is the shots he attempts

    • @torrenceanderson
      @torrenceanderson 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      drepop803 he means leaping ability. He doesnt jump as high as he used to. It may be by choice tho. Youre more injury prone jumping that high for too long in the course of an NBA career

    • @lakerstr8killurteam
      @lakerstr8killurteam 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I doubt that. I just think that his prime is coming gonna be done in about 2 yrs and im just seeing microscopic signs of it

    • @torrenceanderson
      @torrenceanderson 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope. I don't see Lebrons going down any less than year 16. He's a work horse. Unreal body type never seen and treats his body the correct way. Not to mention he's becoming more and more finesse, skill..too many abilities. And he's JUST now hitting knock down shooter status. Only thing that can take him out sooner is an injury, God forbid but other than that, the only thing that will leave him is his incredible leaping

  • @BAP3221
    @BAP3221 10 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Just admit it, Lebron could beat any player including MJ in their prime. It's his skill and strength that makes him so good. MJ paved the way and inspired many players but Lebron took everything and is like the best combined into one...

  • @AJVersatility19
    @AJVersatility19 10 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    It used to be a debate on who's the best player in the NBA. I'm sure a lot of players can be more skilled, like Kevin Love this season for example, but no one can impact a game quite like LeBron, it's unbelievable what he's doing.

    Unstoppable offense. Simply unstoppable. The guys that are fast enough are too small, and the guys that are big enough are too slow. There ARE guys that can defend him, but they simply can't stop him. He does it well at both ends of the floor. I am not a LeBron fan, or even a HEAT fan, but you can't deny greatness.

  • @MacManCurtis
    @MacManCurtis 10 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    If lebron James played in the nba before Michael jordan( hey both switched time periods) 98% of you would say lebron is better. The only reason people say Jordan is better is simply because HE CAME FIRST. HE displayed his greatness before a Kobe or lebron, now people don't want to let go of the fact that lebron has taken over as THE GOAT. Hell, he does everything better than Jordan except for scoring on the perimeter.

    I admittedly am not a Basketball buff, but watch the Michael Jordan highlights, and then this. I can not only see why people say MJ was/is the best, but see what people are talking about with the type of defense MJ was doing against it all the while. Not to say Lebron isn't the man, but even if he scores more points, wins more titles, etc in the end, MJ was simply more impressive overall.

    • @YoungProdigy95
      @YoungProdigy95 10 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Lebron SHOULD have won Best Defensive player last year and has consistently been one of the best in the league. Plus he can guard all 4 positions. Oh, remember when he shut down D-Rose during his MVP year? Come on man. MJ was the best but you can say it's because of defense. Your essentially saying no matter what Lebron does he won't be better despite well.....doing everything better

      people are constantly looking for some one better than MJ and people also dont want to believe that there is someone that could ever be MJ. but the truth is that Mj was just a man and another basketball player.true he was one of the best of all time but why cant there be someone that is better than him... idk, i feel like lebron or Durantt are all equel to MJ on some other level. and i feel like kobe has matched MJ and passed him in some areas. In other words no two players are the same.

    MJ was fun to watch, and I never thought Lebron was as exciting to watch as MJ, but Lebron is a monster. At 6'8" he's a tower, and man he's got some nice layups. He's a got a great fadeaway much like Jordan. I am also impressed with the ease at which he can convert an ally oop. And some nice passes. Definitely the Jordan of today's game. I won't be dissing Lebron anymore. It's was fun watch Jordan though lead the ball up the court. Damn he could palm that ball and make some defenders fall to the ground with a fake. Jordan was very intense on the defense as well.

    LeBron had what most would consider an "off" season this year. He averaged 27.1 ppg, 6.9 rebs, 6.3 ast, shot .567 and his PER was 29.3. In a "down" year. Think about that.

    Just wondering since we are having a debate over here. Who in your opinion do you think would do a better job guarding Lebron in their PRIME. I said without a doubt Scottie Pippen in his prime would be the best guy at guarding Lebron. My homeboi says Grant Hill in his prime. My other homeboi says Dennis Rodman, and my cousin says Ron Artest who do you think. ( Doesn't have to be the players I named.)
    Since we can't agree we're gonna leave it up to TH-cam........LoL

      @dredae76 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      jon jaxon That's true. He sure made Karl Malone's life a living hell. They even used him to guard Jordan and Pippen and I seem him " guard Shaq and Morning a few times as well. I just think back to when Pip had to guard Magic tho'. I know Magic's physically no Lebron but, I think Pip could take the pounding and he's athletic enough to be an effective defender against him.

    I still say durant is a better all around player then Lebron all Lebron can do is pass and lay ups and he gets lucky with his 3s sometimes and sometimes he can hit 2 pretty well but honestly I think the only reason ppl say he's the greatest is because of popular opinion kd is the greatest to me right now but I think Lebron is 2nd to me

    • @AlphaDwg
      @AlphaDwg 10 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      you are a hater. Lebron lead the league in jump shooting percentage last year. They were far from lucky shots. He also shot 40% from 3s so those weren't lucky either. If you actually looked at the stats you would see that Lebron was one of the best shooters in the league last year. Give him his due the numbers don't lie. He is one of the best all around players ever. A modern Oscar Robertson.

    • @EmmanuelStalling

      The reason why people say he's the best is because he's the current MVP and Finals MVP two years in a row. Popular opinion when it comes to pro sports is often correct. You are speaking from an emotional standpoint and your argument has no logical basis. He is also the best rebounder in the league at SF, gets passing lane steals, blocks shots (ask Tiago Splitter), and plays great ball denial, man, and help defense, in addition to having a dominant post game and being solid from mid range AND shooting 40% from 3 the past season and a half. That's not even counting the passing and the layups. Bottom line: you're wrong.

      u gotta be kidding?? durant better allround?? since when. lebron is a way better passer/playmaker, a way better defender can play 5 positions and gaurd them, is way more athletic, he avg 27 ppg for his entire career on nearly 50% shooting, hes a way more efficient scorer, durant is probably a better constanly jumpshooter but i cannot see whatelse durant is better at, to say that durant is better then lebron is one ridicilous comment but to say that hes more allround is not even worth questioning

    Man, it's crazy to watch how he's developed in the past 5 years. Sure, he's playing with Wade and Bosh, but another big reason they went to the finals 3 years in a row is also because LeBron has become a much better player than he was in Cleveland.
