Tommy Bain D-Rose's MVP in 2011 was complete BS, but Durant won it legit this year. LeBron might be the better player, but KD has the better season. The Nash MVPs were BS too, but LeBron still didn't deserve it. KG should've repeated in 05 and Kobe deserved it in 06. James won his first award at the appropriate time. LeBron's MVP-winning days could be behind him, though. It's just hard to beat out a guy that can lead the league in scoring while being 50-40-90 efficient. That's unheard of.
Tommy Bain LeBron deserved both more than Nash, but he wasn't the most deserving in the league. As far as the voters, your premise couldn't be more incorrect. Voters don't give the award to someone else because they think he'll win more later. What if they didn't give it to Rose in 2011 thinking he could win more in his future? What decides MVPs is a combination of individual and team performance. The Cavs didn't make the playoffs in 05 and were the 4th seed in 06. Once his team was #1 in the East, he started to win the awards. That's basically what matters most.

Not sure why he isn't more aggressive, he has the ability to be a 6'8 250 pound Derrick Rose when he drives to the rim. He has the quickness: 1:26, the handles: 3:47 the athleticism 0:00-14:25, the acrobatic layups to avoid defenders in mid air: 7:59, and the ability to finish through contact and hard fouls 9:25.
I'm thinking he doesn't want to injure himself before the playoffs..but you're right, he most likely could do all that if he chose to.
I'm from the future. He's over here averaging 30ppg at 37-38 just because he decided to be aggressive.

Racin808 Kobe has a better team in 2008,2009,2010 than James,it was obvious that James has already develop a perfect basketball skill back in 2006 he can shoot 3's and do everything thats need to be done to win games he was already 250 Ibs his arms & legs were bigger 3 years after he was drafted and he is really unguardable when he is healthy the 2009 Playoffs is a proof that if he is healthy no one can stop him and every player should get out of his way.you see in 2009 he was scoring 45pts,49pts,37pts,41pts and averaging 8-9+ Rebounds and Assists.Kobe's Dominance is his Offense,While LeBrons Dominance is Both Offense and Defense.But are great players hands down.

Just my opinion but these highlight videos are more interesting when similar plays are not grouped together. When I know I'm watching the dunk section or the passing section, I can anticipate what will happen and I lose interest more easily. I imagine this probably happens for others as well. You will probably get a higher rate of likes and possibly more views per video by mixin' it up.

He's honestly a top 3 passer in the league easily.
People need to stop comparing James to kobe.. Lebron doesn't want to be kobe. And there's more to his game than just crazy dunks and athletic ability. Because there are people in today's game who are far more athletic than him, but still don't play as good. For those of you who don't watch him much anymore.. Dude developed some serious skills and fundamentals.
At 2:54 gathers the ball behind halfcourt and manages to get to the basket and dunk in two dribbles. There's a carry and a travel in that one highlight, its a real shame that the NBA has gotten like this.

lirpa5 just keep in mind that superstars tend to have prolonged primes in comparison to your average player, as they continue to study the game and develop their basketball IQ. Just one example is Karl Malone, who had his best seasons from age 33-36. There's many others, but he's the first that came to mind.
