To be honest, I've heard seven versions of this song. BUT, yours is the best. I love those straight lines in vocals, break with mandoline tremmollo, that guitar fade outs and thunder incomings. I got to spend the day with Larry Sparks. He's a butt hole 😂 First he made his elderly bus driver go on and take up most of the stage time my buddy paid him for, he sang two songs and when you talked to him he was like I'm the Larry Sparks your very lucky I'm gracing you with my presence...
But lonesome river band were the nicest guys ever and Brandon was even sick that day. Still awesome lol.
Oh and Russell Moore from IIIrd Tyme Out was a very nice man also.
