    Kia ora fellow guitarists. Unbelievably I managed to finish this video and get it uploaded just hours before I fly out from Djibouti back home to New Zealand. I'll see you in about 50 hours (that's the time it takes to get from Djibouti to New Zealand via a 24 hours layover in Qatar!) Smash the like button, subscribe, and let your fingers fly!

    Thank you very much. Although I've been playing for nearly fifty years and sight read through pieces at this level (but, Hmm not always), I totally missed the 'g' in measure/bar 17 and for some lazy reason played an 'f' on the d string. Just goes to show that one is never too old to be informed/taught and I took that gladly to heart. Thank you. It sounded so much better when I played it correctly (go figure?? now that I'm playing what Tarrega wrote). Such a beautiful little Prelude, very little difficulty but Tarrega's writing is so pretty and economical. Beautiful piece and great lesson. Thank you, Joshua.

      You are welcome. Sometimes I revisit pieces I've been playing for years only to discover that I too have been playing something wrong (usually rhythmically). I'm so glad that your piece is sounding better now and I wish you all the best!

    Hi
    I’m not the only big build Guitar player.
    Any advice on Guitar playing posture

    • @nbnguitar
      @nbnguitar  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, hmm that probably depends where your size is. I don't think there's any real need to deviate from the standard CG posture unless perhaps your belly is really protruding and forcing the guitar away from you. I haven't reached that stage (yet) so I'm not sure.

      My belly does comes in the way.
      So will be adjusting the Guitar to accommodate the growth, unfortunately still growing but sideways

    Thanks for this lesson Josh. I really enjoy your tutorials. I couldn't find any Mallorca tutorial but found it on your channel. You made me so happy. Its one of my favourite song. Could you please make a tutorial for koyunbaba by Carlo domeniconi? Thanks again for your work

      You're welcome. I've been thinking about it but the only thing is because it isn't in the public domain I cannot provide a score with tabs for it. I can teach it though because I played that as part of my FTCL many years ago. Could be something I do early next year as it would take me quite some time to bring it back to an acceptable standard.

    I do have one question perhaps wondering; a while back ago you uploaded the piece Gnossienne 1 by Satie, and you improvised some part of it. After looking at other videos online for the same piece, i think you made it alittle harder than originally when it was played. Im not questioning your talent btw, i am in no pisition to do that, i just simply wondering why you made that approach to complicate a simple piece?. For reference ill send you a link to that piece so you can see how easy it is played.

      There's nothing wrong with questioning why I do something. People honestly need to ask more questions! Let's call it artistic licence. Julian Bream is noted for making things way more difficult than they were originally. Sometimes we do it because it feels right or we need to express something.

      I couldnt have got a better answer if I had asked Julian Bream myself...lol. thank you
