Coach was right, you gotta use the team to pull you towards even faster splits when you got the opportunity and feel ok. Coach can see, your stride was smooth, no need to hold back in a workout.

Ummm try to pace with someone you know that's faster than you and just stay with them. You can also do extra reps and just push harder at practice (but not enough to get injured) and keep working. Ik I'm not even but 🤷
I thought it was supposed to be either goal 5k or 10k pace on the 1600, 1200, and 800. I haven't seen it done this way, this is probably a way harder way to do it 😂
I literally just did the Michigan today, I am a freshman with a pr of 17:53 in the 5k, my mileage is just starting to drop for late season so I should be able to knock that time down quite a bit. My hold mileage was at 41 a week

Before hearing how this workout goes, I was like: I can take workouts pretty well, I'd be willing to try this First two exercises: Mile 20 seconds slower than mile PR Tempo Mile Absolutely not
56 minus at least 3 bc you did a workout then did it, so 53 minus 1.5 bc you have to slide through a couple people and you were on 2nd lane for a large part of the time, so 51.5 then minus at least 1 for not starting with blocks so 50.5 and had you gotten a more better timer than a stopwatch like that plus you would've gotten a header advantage if you did one in an actualy race so like 50. Honestly you can easily pr a 49 high I think. Anyways, you are incredible! :0

rest was about 3 minutes between each rep, my teammates said we traditionally do one michigan per season, thanks!
