  • A tour of Moorestown Mall in Moorestown, NJ. I wouldn't call it a dead mall just yet, but it's definitely pretty close to being one.
This was filmed on December 26, 2024 around 12:30pm.

I prefer this mall over the Cherry Hill Mall. It's easier to get in and out of. Thanks for this walk through.

@@zachsawyer-si4wt I like Cherry Hill more because they have more (and IMO better) stores, but Moorestown is nice too. And you're right, the parking lot is much less busy than Cherry Hill. It's really hard to find a spot there and getting out of the lot can be a nightmare.

Does anyone remember the ducks that used to be in the mall in the 70's? I remember the bubble gum machines that you could buy food to feed them. I loved going to the mall just to see the ducks.

Not dead but definitely struggling. I fear for this mall once PREIT dumps it because Cherry Hill no longer has to be “protected” from the non-existent competition here.

@@PhillyBagel PREIT does seem to be trying, but their efforts aren't really working much based on what I've seen. The fact that the two malls coexisted and succeeded for so long is pretty amazing, but nowadays there's just not room for two malls so close together.
