Dear friend.. Don't connect Ac water pump directly with float switch it's very dangerous .. Better, You can use float switch along with contactor or controller.. Be safe..

It is not a good idea to connect 230V electricity in water. If the float switch develops a leak, anybody touching can be get killed. Always low voltge sensors and use controllers'

Its not SAFE, instead of giving 230v directly to float switch , you can give 12v supply and by adding relays for safe operation..
