    Grabe sir, napaka ganda ng videos mo. Comprehensive and worth the watch. :) If magkakaroon din ako ng ganitong simulator, gusto ko ring mapag aralan ng maigi.
    Anyway sir, at 19:05, bakit po binuksan yun? Where is it connecting? Not really familiar with LPG as of the moment, but its my next vessel assignment. I came from oil tanker so not really familiar with the lines and equiptment.
    This is a good start-up, sir. Kudos sir for a great video!

      Tks for patronising my channel.
      Not sure saan tukoy mo valve at 19.00 onwards.....I am opening all valves, directing the IG flow to all lines, valves, system and equipment where the cargo uses. expelling all the air is necessary. Tanks are biggest space to be done first, hence the rest follows e.g. loosening valves, drain, vents etc has no sequence. this depends on your system design and as a optimum practice they are done in the end stage of inerting.

      I will be uploading online an interactive simulator. Still working on it. Pero it could be access simultaneously with unlimited students for mentoring. However, a certain fee maybe required to maintain the server or website. Puede assisted by a mentor/facilitator or preloaded na sya like a game self pace study.

      Kindly, pass on the word if you think its worth watching and learning from. I am more motivated to create lectures If I have a bigger audience. Appreciate much.

    what about filling IG on hold space in LPG Ships ?can you show pipelines for the same?

    • @ShipAhoyVlogs
      @ShipAhoyVlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most void spaces has their own dedicated pipelines for Inerting and/or Aeration (with Air) dry air e.g. when cargo is Ammonia and while for Ethylene , Nitrogen is used. Nevertheless, the IG purge line in the cargo tanks can be used as well thru flexible hoses and send it in to the Void Space or sometimes spools pieces are just connected or even ready connection separated by Isolating valves from the IG Main line system. Tracing lines is the most efficient way to learn a system, there is no need to memorize them even with complex and long winding lines.

    Hello sir i have suggestion to work as deck cadet on lpg tankers and what are the main question on interview for deck cadet can you tell me ? Thanks.

    • @ShipAhoyVlogs
      @ShipAhoyVlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its just the typical interview in general for any cadets regardless of the ship type. I would suggest to do a review using CES 4.1 or higher for General Tanker Familiarization and likewise Navigation and Safety topics in general. You will be fine, They wont ask Gas Tanker related items, but if your are doubt , read on it as well.

    Good day sir, I would like to ask your advice to have efficient gassing up incase of ethylene were nitrogen and ethylene have almost the same densities.. and during inerting what pressure should we maintain in the cargo tanks.. thank you

    • @ShipAhoyVlogs
      @ShipAhoyVlogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a formula for finding the right amount required for Gassing up. However, in most practices we just look at the Gas Form-C, previous voyages record or P and A manual where the amount is already stated. This is more reliable as it has been experienced by former crew on board. For new ships maiden voyage then manuals that states should be found on board else use the formula. Find the apps link download in one of my uploaded videos.
      For inerting, this also depends on your Ship Tank containment. Inerting with N2 since your cargo is Ethylene. Less than 100mbar is optimum when Inerting with N2 but then again this should be also in you Ship P & A Manual. Warmer N2 would be better. Dilution can be used but for practical application displacement method is more utilized to save the amount Inerting medium e.g. Nitrogen.

      @@ShipAhoyVlogs if i am not wrong, P&A manual is required for chemical tankers, gas carrier doesn't need a P&A manual, the IGC Code does say about cargo operations manual but not this term "P&A manual". BTW, i am working on LNG carrier
