@@UMadUCauseBad oh cool. Nitro was my favourite coaster there, but I loved them all (except green lantern lol). Kingda ka is gimicky but I definitely enjoyed it, I wouldn’t fancy waiting in a long line for it though. It’s a quick burst of ultra concentrated adrenaline and then it’s over.

Traveled all the way from GA just to ride this coaster and it was definitely worth it. The other rides at this Six Flags are pretty great too, especially the Jersey Devil
Having a sunglasses in the front row certainly helps a lot. I did the same thing recently. The wind is an assault to your face due to how fast it’s going, and having those glasses will allow you to open your eyes. My only criticism about the ride is the twist during the drop. Twist/turn or anything that makes it more or less than a 90 degrees drop always greatly diminishes the drop thrill. But despite that, it’s my 2nd favorite roller coaster.
rollercoasters close for maintenance often. it could be as simple as a cable snapping needed to be fixed (happens on lift hills and hydraulic launch coasters sometimes), or fixing track wear, changing trains, whatever.
One of my all time fav rides, went on 5 times in 1 day the season it opened, and many times since. It's almost like a modern, higher version of the old Batman/Robin Chiller ride (huge build up, huge drop). But, still, my fav ride in this park will always be Nitro. Nothing like it. Especially if u sit in the front or back row and close your eyes as soon as u leave the gate and wait until you drop
My friends and I did the Zumanjaro drop of doom, the ride attached to this one, while we were on acid and it ruled. Six flags on acid rules as long as you invest in good flash passes and don’t have to wait lol
I used to live in New Jersey, so I’ve been to Six Flags a couple times. You never know when you’re at Six Flags until you see that monstrosity next to the parking lot.
One time the coaster couldn't make it to the top so we went backwards and had to start over. It's over so fast. El Toro is the coaster that will kick your behind. Pics of the people afterwards are straight up comedy!
Those cameras make it so much more condensed looking...like, not as high as it really is. I LOVE this coaster....you have to watch it from a phone view or mounted camera...or just go and ride it!!!❤
I’ve been on this ride a few times in my life, you are going so fast and speeding up so quickly that it’s 1 extremely hard if not impossible to scream and 2 you can’t even hear it because of the wind speed at that speed
I have ridden it several times- like the acceleration and other than that like loops and more. Remember lightning loops? The first and we thought it was the greatest… I think that there will be another similar to kingda kah that will add more riding fun

The ride closed because when it started going up the hill it went backwards, it’s all fixed now. Nobody was injured
