bro you should completly turnoff your device then press both of the volume buttons if that don't work also press power button too and sometime pressing all three buttons simultaneously work,
BUT YOU HAVE TO INSTALL MTK ALL DRIVERS SETUP 1ST AND THE DRIVERS I SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO SHOULD BE INSTALLED AS WELL.

Xiaomi Redmi 9 on Android 11. Something is broken now afer i used this unlock tool. Everything says that phone is unlocked but most of custom Recovery not booting, and only one TWRP version is booting but data is encrypted.... Also system is now lagging... So i need to reflash using MiFlash and wish it will work to fix that
Bro Redmi 9 has very few roms and recoveries, as far as i remembered when i had hands on rm9 there is only one recovery which was working with some black and white theme, i don't remember it's name but custom roms were not quite good in rm9,
I suggest you to use stock rom and root only.

Bro have you restarted your pc after drivers installation? Install mtk all drivers and drivers in zip, then reboot pc, then use the tool
If can unlock try with different version of windows, windows 10 64 bit is recommended

Bro there are 2 type of drivers, i have given one in description and other in unlock Tool folder, install both drivers reboot pc and try again.
Also check that the USB cable you are using should be Data cable and detect your phone in windows as storage in miui.

lol, this is what people call brick phone. i really hope you are able to take off the back cover of your phone to perform some technical things to unlock it and revert it back to official ROM, happened to me once, I was so scared but it is not that big of an issue, it is just about losing your file, that's all.

Not a note just redmi, I tried it and it seemed to all work fine but then at the end it exits without a comformation that it's done, and whenn i boot up my device it says in tiny text that its corrupted or something but still boots ok, BUT the bootloader isn't unlocked! yes it should work on g88 processor, if you see tiny text that mean your device is unlocked, just go to developer options and see your mi unlock status,
