Great vid man, I had a fairly serious Rib injury last year in C100 using a seat insert which was too tight and getting pushed off track and going into the barrier. I cracked a rib and tore an intercostal muscle and the only way I can kart now is with a Rib protector so take care of them ribs dude and get a new seat! Bengio Bumper is what I have and would recommend. Enjoyed the vlog style video and saw I'm not the only one spannering on my own kart and racing. Looking forward to watching some dutch karting this year!
Hey mate, my problem is that the seat was becoming too small. I bought it second hand and that driver was quite a bit smaller than me. It was fine for the first couple of days but after that it started hurting

Hey man, during one of your flying laps in session 1, there was a corner where i could here all the revs just drop, there's a corner like that at Zwartkops here in S.A. and what we do if closer to the corner we hold acceleration and brake at the same time to keep the revs up, so the power doesn't just drop.
Yup, most people really underestimate that. However, most of my colleagues either have a dad that can do all of that or they just pay a team to do it for them

@@RedExions oh that's a bit different to the UK then, I just looked at the silver top on the engine and assumed it was a pre-evo compared to the red top even though you were running an evo conversion kit

i had the same problem with ribs and the best thing to do is to cover the seat on the sides with some soft material it realy helps

Je moet ook niet met al je kracht op dat pedaal trappen. Je moet de sweet spot vinden tussen blokkeren en niet blokkeren

@@sielracing yup, I work for my dad's business for 20hrs per week, and the other 20 hours that I'm there I can work on the kart, TH-cam etc
