The other reason can be language limiting growth. I witnessed it with LNS channel. Lynn started it 9 years ago but it was strictly conversations of Kenyans about Kenyan lives or problems. With Guests mostly narrating their stories in Kenyan languages. Growth was slow. But as soon as she allowed English to dominate as the language and mixed it with Kenyan language. Growth of channel spiralled. She recently hit 1Million subscribers. The whole world is following and watching her channel. I AGREE- CONSISTENCY PAYS OFF.

So with regards the vlog vs sit downs, I follow many other smaller channels, and have noticed that sit downs actually do better, because sit downs let us into your life, however, you can switch it up now and then, I personally would like to see a "spend the day with me/us" type of content now and then. But otherwise we definitely enjoy your sit downs.
