@@viddaz that's true, I did one of those. But since it's easy to just mishmash various concepts together, shapewise, it becomes 'new' anyway. What if the classic E1M2 foyer had a true 2nd story? what if it was also siamese'd with an arena similar to your favorite 2016 snapmap module? Then progression after can just be an entirely new doorway, etc
Nice map with good encounters and I love the placement of jump pads and meathook nodes but it's really straining on eyes ngl with the lava being so bright. Also fodder felt really scarce or no fodder at all sometime for example when only the marauder was left alive I've gone through all the platforms but couldn't find a fodder and I really don't like being forced to use the hammer, it should always be optional. So thank god I still had few ammo left just enough to kill the marauder. I hope these issues get addressed in the future.
Agreed, I also found myself looking for fodder and ended up just using the hammer because I couldn't be bothered... Also, I'm not sure if it's intended or not but the smaller islands deal lava damage, which was confusing, so I ended only trying to hang out in the four corners or in the center of the map.
@@viddaz the lava damage even goes through the shield which is confusing as well because in the official levels for example super gore nest you wouldn't take damage from lava if you used shield. Also kinda tried to avoid the small island in between because I lost my trust in them because it was a bit confusing not knowing which parts are where you would take damage from and which parts you wouldn't.
