I just bought a pair. Very powerful, yet neutral sounding speakers, I like them a lot. There is some hiss from the 6.5" woofers which is higher level than I expected (coming from Focal Shape 65s). It does not bother me when I listen to music, but when there's silence, it's noticeable from about 0.5 m, and it has a different character on the left speaker (some crackling?). Also, I noticed some (mechanical?) distortion somewhere between 35Hz and 50Hz (same on both speakers) when I listen to some subby trap/hop-hop tracks. Has anyone experienced similar things? What did I miss? Other than that, amazing monitors.

Hey there, we are not sure about the amphion but we can answer the question for the SC3070. Due to the compact size combined with the powerful output everything between 1 and 3 meters of listening distance is viable for this monitor!

What speakers would you recommend for a digital piano "studio"? I have a Kawhi VPC1 and am using Pianoteq as my VST. I currently have a pair of Klipsch RP600m in that room, and am looking to upgrade.
Hi Evan, many thanks for considering the EVE´s. The Klipsch RP600m houses a 6,5“ woofer and if you look for a speaker of the same size please have a look at our SC207. A serious upgrade would be our SC3070, a 3-way monitor with a 6,5“ bass woofer and dedicated 4“ midrange woofer which would be a good choice for a piano „studio“. Please let us know if there are more questions :)
