@@Vikramt21Hi! Right now i am in Austria. According to my travel experience, you can indeed take a ferry (or ship) from Hallstatt train station to the village. However, if you prefer not to take the ferry, it's also possible to reach Hallstatt village by bus or car from other nearby train stations.But from hallstatt train station, you have to take the ferry or ship.
