    I thoroughly enjoy your videos🙂. They're clear, very pleasant & convince me that even I, of the black thumb, could grow flowers!
    Thankfully, some of my Snapdragons come back each year (I actually have some snapdragon plants with these thick shrub-like bases!) and they re-seed, as well.
    Thank you for the inspiration!
    It all began with the delphiniums!

    Thank you for a really clear, helpful video - much appreciated. Silly novice question perhaps: if one wanted to sow the seeds directly in their final pots ( aka where the plants would stay for their entire flowering duration) would you still use seed compost and then add fertilizer as they grow? Or use multipurpose compost straight away? Many thanks & happy gardening.

    • @LearnHow2
      @LearnHow2  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Michaela. Seed compost may not have enough nutrients to support larger plants so I would use the multipurpose. Keep safe.

    1. @2:34, how long does it take to grow that big?
    2. My seeding stuck in little about 1/2'' for a long time and its not growing at all? Should I break the paper pot and plant in garden?

    • @LearnHow2
      @LearnHow2  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      1. It was about 6 weeks.
      2. If the weather is warm enough then plant them out. They may be too restricted or not getting enough nutrients in your pots.

    Hi. I am growing snapdragons and they have germinated but are tiny and very weak looking. Only 30 seeds in the pack but only a few have germinated. I am not sure if I should give up on them and try a different type. I germinated them in a heated propagator and did not cover them as advised on the packet with soil. Can you explain how long your seeds took to germinate and how long it took for the second set of leaves to develop. I can’t imagine mine developing like yours and looking anything like them. Do I need to be a bit more patient. Thank you.

    • @LearnHow2
      @LearnHow2  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Carole. Mine took about 10 days to germinate and got their second leaves 2 weeks later. My Method is - Keep the soil moist but not wet, keep in the light but not direct sunlight until the plants have grown a bit, keep warm, 20 degrees is ideal.
