Engelbert was from english parents...his dad was in the British Army , Cliff.. Marty.. Billy..Engelbert..Tom all at the same time it was a wow time in the UK from 57....77 an amazing 20 yrs with some of the best looking guys in the business...and the best singers ever...thanks for this posting

I remember going to see this film at the Kensington Odeon when it first came out in 1973,I was only 10 years old and had only ever seen my father wet shaving in our bathroom so when Cliff got that electric shaver out in his car I wondered what on earth it was! lol...Happy Days in the 1970s.

In the 3rd and 9th lines of the song lyrics you are showing in the Description,Cliff isn`t singing "close your weary dippers " he`s singing "close your weary PEEPERS" (slang for eyes).

@Daystar29 Channel 4 did have the rights to this film not sure if they still do!! it can some time be caught at silly hours 'O' clock!! which is where i first saw it!! :)
