In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Since all these tiebreakers are recorded ahead of time, without knowing whether they'll be needed or not, I'd love to see all the unused/unaired tiebreaker footage!

I posted the same request last year. I had my hopes up when I saw the title for this video.
Somewhere on TH-cam is the footage of Mark kicking the yoghurt and absolutely nailing it, getting almost all the yoghurt at the direct centre of the bullseye.
Someone suggested Alex has said he'd prefer not to do that, so those tasks can be reused in future episodes. Makes sense, tbh.
I would love to see all the times Little Alex Horne got to say, "All the information is on the task"

Joe opening the jar before opening the task lead to Alex prompting the contestants to read the whole task first, and him stating they need to say "time starts now" to avoid thinking time.
Haha that’s the greatest compliment Joe could receive imo
I still think that doing some obvious prep work (like grabbing the gloves) makes sense. Or, in CoC, doing the maths on the board to work out 202 before opening the task.
To be fair, Joe specifically asked if he can attempt the task before knowing what it was on the card. He did just that and rather incredibly got it right
"It's really unfair I have to go first, can't he go first?" "Okay..." I laughed so hard.

Unless he's in the habit of deleting all his texts, you have just technically received all his text messages.

It would also be nice to see the tiebreak challenges which never made it to air.
Don't think they'll show them, even if I'd really like to see them.. Main reason being, since they didn't show them at all, they can just reuse those tie breakers again in future series

I love it how Romesh was running around like a chicken without a head and Frank was just walking leisurely, yet it was Frank who won their tie-break.

I love that the contestants don’t know which tasks are tasks and which are tie breakers so they just have to give it their best every time
Or which are special tasks with no use
Apparently Ed knew in advance that the lasso task was originally intended as a tiebreaker but got promoted to a main task because David did so badly, and was mad because that made it have more of an impact as he came second last

The show needs to bring back that Swede. All the episodes with him were hysterical.
They addressed this in an episode of the taskmaster podcast, I think they said he's back in Sweden working as a painter

@@ninoska.noe. He wasn't necessarily doing anything actively when saying that. That is still his profession, even if he is taking a break.
Probably a bit expensive to pay that specific Swede to go on basically a holiday everytime they want a Swede

R C honestly my favourite parts of the episodes where just watching them interact - out of every contestant Katherine made Alex crack and fall out of character the most 🤣

I always love how Alex says things like "Pop up tie break" like it's something known at least all over the country if not the world.
As an American, it feels so strange seeing tasks from series 9, 10, and 11 since they haven't been made public yet

The Katherine Parkinson vs Richard Herring is one of the funniest clips. I love to see Alex and Katherine crack up!

I like how the title is “Greatest Tiebreakers” but the intro said “All Tiebreakers”. they’re all the best.
Don't worry about showing us the results of each Tiebreaker, that part isn't important..
I think they did that so people would actually go watch the episodes! Adds to the mystery and intrigue which means more views :)
I coulda sworn that there were maybe... four or five tiebrakers... in all the series of taskmaster...?

I've seen Mark Watson's attempt at the yogurt kicking and it's probably the best he ever did on a task 🤣🎯 such a shame he wasn't in the tie-break!
Mark Watson wasn't that bad at tasks, he was actually leading the series for a lot of it, it's just his fails and bad luck are way more memorable (cheeky texts, the bad rainbow, the dog eating his breadcrumbs etc)

Joe somehow completing a task without even reading it, thus completing it in 0 seconds by default, is just impressive lol. He just knew what he had to do and rolled with it

I want to know who Alex thinks were: -
1. the most reckless contestant?
2. the contestant that most enjoyed humiliating Alex?
3. the most serious contestant?
4. the most inventive contestant?
5. the most entertaining contestant?
I would gladly watch a whole hour length show of unused/unaired footage and bloopers. In fact, make that a whole series.
Kathrine and Alex are so connects they share the exact same reaction at the exact same time with her dino toy win.

12:10 - that DOT/POINT was in the middle (vertically speaking) so that was actually more in line with a multiplication than it was 'referencing' a dot or period or point to decimalise it.
But alas, Romesh wasn't in that series was he!

Richard and Katherine's tiebreaker will always make me laugh a stupid amount.
I know it's just comedy but there being many tie break tasks that have been done beforehand, the producers can just choose the one that gives the winner they want.
You could probably make a whole yt episode out of all the tiebreaker tasks, that were never aired😂

I find it interesting that although series 6 had a lot of sport-based tasks which favoured Russell and unfavoured Alice, she beat him in a tiebreaker about football

For the text one, I would have just found one of those automated text chains from businesses that say like “text STOP to opt out” because they always send a confirmation text back immediately
