but then i realized i could just swim further down and exit through a tunnel into the atlantic ocean. And since there is no ice there i was saved

Not sure of Sean figured this out but what killed him here is that he right clicked on the chest, but the raindeer's hitbox was in the way so instead he got on the raindeer and suffocated in the wall

this actually happened to me when i was ... 2 or 3 in norway... my dad thought it would be fun to let me walk on this ice with him... and i was the one that cracked the ice and fell it... he bearly had time to dive his arm into the water before the current took me.... Riverboys dates back at least to 1991-1992

In high school I would download his minecraft videos onto my laptop and watch them videos all night. Let me tell you this this is worth it. Looking back at this video and finally watching it again, iconic. Love his videos and keeping up with his new videos

I really hope Minecraft implements dynamic seasons into the game. In summer time if you are in the desert, you slowly dehydrate quicker. When it’s winter and you are in the icy snowy regions (like here) you will get hypothermia.

the riverboys story made me sad and scared at the same time. hope ur friend is doing alright. drowning feels horrifying. this one time me and my cousins were playing in a lake back at my home village. my cousins grew up in that village so they knew how to swim but i was very young and hadn't learnt swimming yet. i was in the shallow water. the authorities responsible for the village had recently dug the lake and made it deeper. they didn't really dig it evenly. one part was shallow and just beyond a sharp edge, it was very deep water. i didn't realize how to close to the edge i was. i suddenly slipped and fell in the deeper waters and immediately started panicking which led to my body slowly descending under water. my eldest cousin noticed and grabbed me immediately. years later when i started learning how to swim, i kept remembering that incident which got in the way of my swimming lessons. learning how to swim took me 10 more days than my brother and a few cousins who started to learn at the same time as me. i know how to swim well now but i don't think i'll easily forget that experience. that was also the last time i ever swam in that lake

I appreciate the small touch of the castle crashers snow world music. It's a small but great touch to a great video. I really miss old school games like that, and the simple touch of the music (which is my favorite ost in the game) reminded me of that and made this video so much better. ❤

The absolute descent into insanity that this video was. First it was the little crafting mistakes, then the constant getting lost and disoriented, the eating mushrooms, burning forests down, talking to animals, getting desperate enough to kill his reindeer friends, almost killing muk nuk because of it, running away like bro went through all the stages of grief in a game 😭
As a Canadian I can confirm this is roughly how the first 100 days of our lives go.

After my Senior year was cut short from COVID in 2020, I briefly attended online college before dropping out. After this, I went on to work in a factory. I was working 12 hour shifts, 7pm-7am, 3-4 days a week. I didn't know anyone else working on this schedule. This resulted in lots of late nights being alone on my days off. I remember watching this video, and many other similar forge labs videos, drinking tea in bed at 4am. It was a pretty dark(no pun intended) time in my life. Very lonely and depressing. But videos like this felt like home, and I'm very nostalgic for them. Thank you for the work you put into such cozy videos.
I'm back attending college now. I'm in my last semester for the time being. Life has sure had its ups and downs. Found love, lost it. Made friends and lost them. But I have a job that I like, and the best friends in the whole world. Broke as shit and in debt, but I'm happy. Not perfect, but I'm excited for what comes next. I'm happy to be alive.
If you're reading this, there is a reason you are alive, and you are loved more than you know, I promise. You got this. It'll be okay.
