Great watch as always lovely fish. Seems to be last few years that early spring has bought some of the coldest days and nights of the year making for a slow start to traditional species .But days are getting longer and hopefully milder soon .
Great video great take on first perch wich I would be over the moon catching . Mostly key ring perch where I live But stunning no matter shat size lol Tight lines 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁🤞✌
@@Lifeonthebank thanks mate and reel choice and size I have a cheap set up that I would like to replace but it's more of a minefield than carp fishing I'm finding 😂
Another cracking video buddy. .. them perch are just bloody awesome !!!! I’m So glad you didn’t go tench fishing 🤣🤣 ( perch bring my favourite fish to catch 👍🏽😀) … the weather will warm up soon buddy and that big lake you fished with them waves remind me of a lake I go perch fishing for here up north and that’s really exposed and gets very choppy at times !!! Anyways all the best to you and yours and look forward to your next video 👍🏽🎣😀
Just got back from a quick hour session on new bit of canal... blanked again!.. bought all new better gear and I'm catching less 🤣 .. one pike in 5 short sessions! 😔 tell me this happens! 🤣 edit.. excellent fish at last knocking!! .. if you see this one question 😇 ... what did you catch the big perch on at the end? Awesome 👌
@@Lifeonthebank I can't seem to find out if it is better to tie a soft lure on directly or use a snap link for quick changing. Thinking of best presentation. If it best to tie it on, would it be ok to have a snap link between the braid and the flouro. Thinking I could pre tie some rigs at home ready for a quick change.
I wish with all my heart that your channel really blows up. Its just good. Dont really know how else to explain it. Top shelf stuff!

I think we need the nighttime temps to increase and the fishing will get so much better. Not long to wait now. 👍👍
Love the cut down lure, great idea ;) lol
Secret edges exposed 😂👌 hope you’re well mate 😁
Tough going, but worth it in the end for that awesome perch!
Yeah, definitely worth all the effort! Lovely perch in the end.

Quailty Stripers mate! I need to back in to my fishing for my brains sake I think.
So good for the mind. Time on the bank is never a waste of time 😉👍
Another great video nick, looked like a bit of graft session. Nice perch though 👌
Not sure I always do it the easy way! 🤣 but it’s a good way to discover more spots I guess. Cheers mate 👍👍👍
Love the channel mate can you tell me your go to rod and reel for ned, jigs and dropshot
Thanks for the kind comment. If your after an allrounder I would recommend the 3 - 14g Korum ZT lure rod.

What size reels are you using on your rods ?
1500 size mate 👍👍
What was the method for the last perch
I was dropshotting a small korum minnow style lure 👍

I think it’s best to tie it directly without a clip personally. I wouldn’t use a snap link between braid a fluoro. I would use a grinner to grinner.
