“Simran bestows happiness, peace and bliss, and leads us to a state of super-consciousness. The repetition of any name or names of God is called Simran. Through it an extraordinary current of consciousness enters the body…" (Sawan Singh)
Beautiful teachings it's the same teaching in mysufi islamic taswwuf practice, Guru/shiek is must he will help u escape from maya, and zikir Or simran will get u close to God and help u detach from this World

Hi James love all the talks Question Do you access to any of the Masters talking about verbally saying the simran! Because it helps me more so starting off each time! Would appreciate your feedback! I do recall Ajaib msybe mentioning it if having trouble to statrt with!
Yes, some verbal simran at first for a few minutes is perfectly fine. Hazur Baba Sawan Singh has mentioned this. From one of my podcasts: A Word About Vocal Simran: Some in Sant Mat do not realize, perhaps have not been taught, that there is some role for vocal simran to help one gain some enhanced concentration at the start of one's meditation practice. Of course any vocal repetition of the names should be done in private so others won't overhear you repeat the names. Hazur Baba Sawan Singh in Philosophy of the Masters (Gurmat Siddhant): "Simran should not be done in haste. It should be done slowly and with love and devotion, the Names being repeated clearly and correctly. To do it in haste or to regard it as an unwanted task, or to go through it merely as a routine, leads nowhere. If the mind becomes lazy while doing Simran, or the attention turns towards sense pleasures, one should repeat the Names audibly for ten or fifteen minutes *, so that the mind’s attention reverts to the proper place." (Sawan Singh) * One can briefly, if necessary, repeat the Names out loud if one will not be overheard by others, and then, once concentration is established at the third eye center, revert to mental repetition (manas jap), mental Simran, and begin one's journey within.
