These are great videos and please continue producing such Igbo materials. They are so many other language courses on here especially the other mainstream Nigerian languages except for Igbo. You are a pioneer and you dont know the influence of these videos and seed you are sowing with them. I was born and raised in the UK but my Igbo is poor. I am a grown man now but am trying to learn again after several failed attempts in the past. This time, I will stick to it. Please continue and include topics such as numbers/money, alphabet, animals, human body parts, travel, family, colours, household items i.e broom (aziza), church and general questions i.e how much, where are you? where is she/he? what is this? What do you want? etc. Please always repeat the Igbo 3 times and slowly. Thanks.

Chizzy, look, the Owerri dialect is the undiluted original Igbo that was why ATTC now Alva Ikoku college of education was established in Owerri by those who studied the etymology of the Igbo language long ago. And the made F C Ogbalu the first principal! So, do not be afraid to speak the Owerri, Mbaise and Umuahia dialects. The Anambra, Delta, Aro, Rivers, Enugu, Ebonyi dialects have been affected by the influx of migrants but not that of Owerri which is at the center of Igboland! The way we Owerri people speak Igbo language, is the way it is supposed to be spoken. When you read educational Igbo literature, you will observe this. No-one spells Okeleke for Okereke, for instance.

Question if African Americans are of Igbo descent is American R&B jazz , Blues , Soul, Gospel music be considered igbo music also. No offense it hard to listen to African Igbo music I have tried but it hard to get use too. I also play many instruments.
I don't know, and don't think all African American are Igbo descents. I will add again by saying if you enjoy African music and don't feel connected to it easily, It's normal i don't connect with some music too. But if you can keep trying more, you might get use to it. Thanks

Yes,Dear. Hapu and hafu means the same, which is known as "Leave". Igbo have different dialects and means the same. And I understand, you are mixing it up with "that" "Leave" and "Leave that" cannot be the same, it means different things, Leave means hapu and that will be "hapu ya" hope I'm making sense.
