I love this little baby’s bed! Wish I had seen this when my grandson was a baby. Now my little grandson is 20 years old, 6’ 4’’ tall and at college! 😄😄😄 Wonderful tutorial 💜
There is not one project that you have done that I haven't liked. I enjoy watching your tutorials because they are concise and the item is always beautifully finished. I love your squirrel friend too.
I particularly love your long videos, so I enjoy them more. Your work is spectacular and I will NEVER tire of seeing them. Keep it up, please, Julie, never change. xoxo
Another great tutorial Julie, I purchased two of your books last week, and I'm off to buy some wood tomorrow, I've been watching all of your tutorials and it's got my fingers itching, I haven't done anything with my dolls houses for a few years, but hopefully they will be "liveable" soon. x
I will try this beautiful crib for my little me. Will you teach us how to make a tiny teddy bear 🧸 for it???? Thank you so much. Love your videos. Waiting for my second book to arrive!!!! 🙃
I wish I could give this a "love" instead of a like. I must say though... kind of miss watching you apply glue and make both halves and stuff. I know you're probably trying to shorten your videos (I've seen the comments about length) but I really enjoy how thorough your videos have been. Also... more nursery furniture would be amazing to see! I've missed the squirrel 😂
Thank you so much! I have been trying to edit the videos a bit better, but also trying to find a balance between being thorough but not too long! I will add some more nursery projects to my list. I'll tell the squirrel you say hello! :)
It seems over here in Florida obeche wood in the sizes you mention is as rare as hens teeth. Base (no I have not miss spelt Balsa) wood seems to be the alternative.
Ian Scott I'm glad you've specified the wood you use. Obeche is not available any where near Hilton Head Island either. I'm willing to say I'll find a hen with teeth before I find obeche. Lol
😹😹I don’t believe I have both those books that you used to weight it all down been a while since I have read either of them 😹😹😹 I love the cot but was wondering how hard it would be to make it with one side can be raised and lowered like a real cot.🤔🤔🤔
That a coincidence about the books, although I do have rather a lot!! The cot could be make with a sliding side, you would need to create a runner on two of the side legs using thin stripwood and do it that way I think.
Julie Warren lol it could be a coincident lol was just so funny to see lol. Yes I was thinking along the lines of that for a movable cot side next time I am in the city I will look at the nursery section of the shop I go to and have a look. Will have to take some photos so I know what I will be doing 😸😸
I was recently gifted a commercially made cot, but it is nowhere near as nice as your piece...I can see that mine will be relegated to the "attic" and replaced when time permits!
I love the British doll houses with front doors make all the sense you create great tutorials
Thanks so much 😊

Thank you so much Jerri.
love you little visitor!! The baby cot or crib as we say in USA is darling!!! you are a great teacher and make such wonderful miniatures!
Thank you so much Chris.
You are SOOOOO clever!
Thank you, Stephanie. :)

Thank you Rossy. I'm trying to find a balance, making them a bit shorter, but without missing anything out!
I’m thrilled you did this tutorial! Making this next. You did a great job!
Thank you Dayna. I hope you'll enjoy making it.
Love your projects....and love Mr Squirrel too!
Thank you Wendy. I'll tell Mr Squirrel you say Hi! :)
Love this - will definitely make on soon😊😊
And I will so much look forward to more furniture for the babyroom!
Thank you Anja. I hope you enjoy making it.

Thank you so much for buying the books. I'm so glad you're getting back into the hobby and hope you'll have fun making the pieces.
Aww this is adorable ..almost as adorable as your squirrel!
Thank you Dawn.
Great vlog. We have a spoiled squirrel too.
So cute! Great job, Julie.
Thank you.
Too cute, just too cute!!
Adorable! ❤Have a wonderfull day. xx
Thank you. You too. xx

Thank you Mariza, I'm glad you're going to give the crib a go. I'm afraid Teddy bears aren't my line of expertise, although I wish they were! :)
Great tutorial!
Thanks Kate.
This is very cute
I loved this totuorial and i am wondering if you made the tedy bear to?
I didn't I'm afraid, he's been in my collection for some time. Thank you for watching.

I haven't used Basewood (is that used for making guitars?) Another alternative is Basswood, also known as Limewood.
I may have to dye my hair blond to match the moment I may have had. I saw basswood but read basewood.
I think there is a wood called Basewood though...
Basswood is a good replacement. Don’t use Balsa. Way too Soft.
Have you ever made a bunk bed video? I love this cot!
I haven't actually, but I shall add it to my list!
CCUUTTEE !,!!!
Thanks Elaine.
this is cute but I really want to make one from my 1/6 bjd which is 28cm I can't fine any cot for my doll in his size
This piece is pretty easy to adapt, if your doll is 1/6, you can just double the measurements I’ve given. 😄
@@JulieWarren thanks i'll be sure to keep that in mind when making the cot👍🏼👍🏼💗😺
Oops! I forgot to admire your squirrel! Charming fellow, he is........
He is a cheeky little fellow.

I always have my camera on hand when I'm out and about for that exact same thing! :)
Julie Warren lol that’s so true you never know what you come across that would convert to 1/12 lol

The cutting list has disappeared for this cot. Does anyone have it?
The cutting list is shown at the start of the video, after I show you the tools and materials needed.
@@JulieWarren Thanks
Please by Any chance you could post a PDF cutting list?
I'm not sure how I would do that...?
If you type the cutting list into a word type program then save as a PDF then link it in your show notes. I also think you can do the same on FB.
I have the PDF, but there's no way of attaching anything in the notes. If you pause on the cutting list, you should be able to do a screen print.
Thank you That is what I did.
For some reason the cut list is too fuzzy for me to read
How are you watching? I've just had a look at it, and it looks ok on my PC. Is anybody else having problems with the cutting list?
On my pc will check it on my phone
Look good on my phone must be my computer. Thanks for responding

I do that too! I'm glad you're enjoying the projects.
