The Comeback Kid is in town! Or on a really frozen Welsh field 👌Big cheers Steve, also for always engaging with us, yours truly here being one of them. Very much appreciated indeed, thought I'd let you know. I hope you have thawed out at home, much looking forward to more outings, TF2 or otherwise, the big rigs, the D90, yes sure do like those all 😊 Cheers boss 💯
Ha ha, thanks! It was pretty cold for a few days, but it's already back to rain so the next one will surely be a lot wetter... I'll definitely be getting the big rigs out too, I'm looking forward to that. I've got to open them all up to reach the receivers and re-bind them though, unfortunately, as I've had to replace my transmitter. So the next truck I choose might just be the one with the simplest electronics to reach!
Now you mention it, the horse was 30 stories high... luckily I managed to escape . You know I still don't understand how Godzilla, at least in the old cartoons, would come 'up from the depths' and then only be knee-deep when he stood up. 🤷
Sigh. Very run of the mill for you. Which means AWESOME AND BRILLIANT for the rest of us. Great to see the Luxy back on screen and regular wheels. Thank you for your sacrifice. A
Had a good laugh when the horse looked up over the crest of the hill. As always, nicely filmed and well edited. And that perfect frost layer that looks like scale snow! A fun watch!
Man just in time I was ramaging through your channel! Your style is amazing! Deserves a lot of credit. Those frozen fingers are worth it I guess with a brilliant result like this 👌👌👌
Hello, Steve, Thanks for going out into the cold and for taking the camera. It's a joy to sit on my sofa and watch the TF2 romping merrily amid the ice and giant horse heads.
Hi Del, great to hear from you. I think I'm just getting old as I've been out far longer in far worse weather and not got nearly as frozen... hey ho! It was worth it. And it was a relief to have a short break from the otherwise endless rain, too! Who'd have though horses that big could tunnel and live underground, though? Wales is truly an incredible land.
Ooohyeah!!! Great! This video just made my day, Steve! Great to see you back (well, to see your lovely Hilux actually) but you know what I mean! For what it's worth, it was well worth freezing your socks off to get these awesome shots. Glad it's not just me, I find that the cold seems to get far deeper into my old bones these days and takes an eon to warm up again after. Anyway, good to know the old Toyota is still in good shape and the new boots and motor certainly seemed to go well. Hope you are doing well mate, all the best and I hope we don't have to wait 6 months for the next treat! Cheers! 😎👌👊👍
Man, I really think I am just getting old... don't know why it affected me that much this time! Really enjoyed myself though, and it was good to get into it again. I'm certainly hoping it's not six months before I get to do the next one! Hope all's good with you dude, and I can't wait to see what xmas presents you'll get this year! (I'm still really drawn to getting another 037, thanks to you... 🤣).
Thanks! Don't know why I got so cold really. Probably just another rubbish thing about getting old... 🤣😬🥶. But I agree about the frost, I love how it looks.
Ah ha ha, to be honest the indoor racing is absolutely freezing anyway, so I think it's just increasing age that's making me so feeble outdoors... 🥶 Anyway, happy xmas and have a great new year, dude! 👍
Boo Hoo!!!! 🤣😂Living down here in Easter Canada Ain't no picnic either, Let me tell ya. LMAO... But Y'know we are ALL WEATHER RC'ers down this way. LMAO 🤣😂😆 Another great run with amazing views and angles with that sun in the background? Beautiful Brother. Glad to see you back at it. and I must say I like those rims and tires on this Tf-2 as well.... lol Hope all is well and Keep em coming
Ah ha ha ha, I knew my complaints that it was cold wouldn't get much traction from the Canadians out there... 🤣 Honestly, there were icebergs and everything, they were just out of shot!
Your vids are so damn good. From the cinematography to the music selection is top notch. Any chance I could pick your brain about how you’ve set up the suspension on your TF2? What springs are you using? Are you running any oil in the dampers? My mind is blown how realistically your rig behaves!
Thanks very much, that's very kind! I worked on the suspension quite a bit to make it not rock-solid. I use the stock main leafs with just one small helper leaf, fit o-rings between them so they can twist more freely, removed the springs from the dampers, and fitted the shackle-reverse kit so the front axle wants to swing backwards rather than forwards under compression. I've also flattened the springs slightly to lower it. I do need to redo the dampers, though - I think all the oil has leaked out. It's got too bouncy now.
The Art of RC Video.
Thanks, that's very kind! 😎

That horse was a shock! Like an equine Godzilla!
Glad to see you are still alive!

Scale snow, that's exactly how I think of it... 🤣 It even leaves tyre tracks. Ace.
Wow looking good and some great footage.
Thank you!

You were brave going out, we have had some of the coldest days I have know in a long while. Does looks cool going through the frost.

@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 It's not about being old, but all year we have had sudden temperature changes for some reason.
Great video very proffesional filming and editing

Awesome film ! Just blown away by it.
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it!
What a beautiful truck and beautiful video looked pretty cool though. That shot going over the V shaped log was awesome.
Thanks very much, and thanks for mentioning that shot - it was my favourite! 😎👍
I've come back for a second viewing, really excellent realism, filming and everything basically. Well done 👍🏻
Thank you very much! It's really appreciated.
awesome steve, great to see you back making filums :-) what a great comeback with and amazing video :-)
Thanks man, and happy xmas! Hope you're having a good time. 👍
Great vid Stevo! Love how the TF2 moves on those springs. Good to see a new vid x
Cheers! Me too, though I've lost all the damping and it's got a bit bouncy. Think I need some more oil in the Leak-O-Matics.
Excellent video and camera work as always ! Great to see you back 👍
Thanks very much!
Good to see you and the TF2 back. Nice wheels. I hope all the indoor RC life hasn't affected your resilience to the Welsh weather. 😁

It's good that you published a new video after a long break, because you create really amazing videos with RC models! 💯👏
👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much! 😀
Awesome video! Great camera work even with the freezing hands 🤪
Thanks! I've defrosted now, at least... 🤣
Excellent as always sir! Looks like i need to go live on my toyota!.....cold? -15 here😊
Ha ha yeah, it was only -3 or so here (and it's already back up above freezing). I'm obviously getting feeble in my old age...

yay yr back awesome
Ha ha, thanks! 👍
I’d rather have this weather or snow here in Corris mid wales …usually it just p@#£@# down with rain here 🤬🤬
To be honest that's pretty much all it's done here all year, and after a few freezing days we're already back to just rain... sad face.
@@rccrawlersmid-wales645 same here nice and crisp but dry .back to bloody rain here too ..👎

It's just me, driving and filming.
