- पुलिस कमिश्नर राकेश अस्थाना की विदाई रविवार को दिल्ली पुलिस से हो गई. उनकी जगह 1988 बैच के आईपीएस अधिकारी संजय अरोड़ा लेंगे, जो तमिलनाडु काडर के आईपीएस अधिकारी हैं. अपने विदाई समारोह में राकेश अस्थाना ने कहा कि उन्हें भी लग रहा था कि उन्हें सेवा विस्तार मिल रहा है लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हुआ. उनकी काम करने की तमन्ना अभी और है. उनका मन था कि वह दिल्ली पुलिस के लिए और काम करें, लेकिन सर्विस एक समय रिटायर जरुर होना पड़ता है. उनका एक साल का दिल्ली पुलिस का अनुभव बेहद संतोषजनक रहा। दिल्ली पुलिस के साथ उनका अनुभव सकरात्मक रहा.

बिल्कुल सत्य बात है भाई साहब की मेरे बड़े भाई दिल्ली पुलिस में हेड कॉन्स्टेबल थे गुरुग्राम में सड़क दुर्घटना में उनका निधन 2018 में हुआ था चार साल बीत गए उनके ऑफिस में बहुत बार चक्कर काट लिए किसी ने पेश नही किया बहुत बार मेल की भाई के लड़के की अनुकम्पा के आधार पर सर्विस के बारे में कोई जवाब आज तक नही आया जहाँ ड्यूटी थी वे डीसीपी भी चार साल से कोई कार्यवाही नही कर रहे ।
आज ये CP सर कितनी मीठी भाषा बोल रहे हैं जाने के वक्त ये कुर्सी पर थे तब किसी गरीब की तो शायद सुनी भी नही होगी हम लोग तो भुगतभोगी है।

About earlier assignment as CP, DP you did what central Govt assigned you to do n being uniformed you obeyed but central Govt did wrong which you say as encroachment. Very few denies but , it's very wrong practice to undermine the capability of few n go extra mile for some. Why police check and verification etc. Is tightened only during 26th January and 15th August? Why for the rest of period it is not done at all and we are all sleeping.? Daily in most of PGs people come and stay no police verification in residentia lcolony come make nuisances in nights and nobody to check specially where sr citizens reside. All PG and commercial activities in Residential colony must be stopped with by the LG to immediately notify to avoid nuisances. In each residential colony there are commercial place, all these commercial activities must be shifted forthwith. Atleast this step must be taken during ensuing 75 year Amrut Azadee celebration to start with and to check mal illegal activities etc. Lg must issue orders before indepenence. Jai hind.
