Ya know, Linda, I kind of feel bad for Melt. These are BEAUTIFUL products and so multi purpose. LOVING them more than my Charlotte Hollywood Flawless Filter. So why do I feel bad for the brand? They released this into a market FLOODED with liquid highlighters and they just aren't getting any interest. It's a shame. Bad timing.

I bought one of these to try out in the shade Stargazer since that seemed to be a pink/gold color. I might pick up a few more. I really think it gave you a very fresh, dewy and glowing look when mixed with your foundation. Very pretty, subtle and sophisticated glow when mixed with foundation!
Oh I’m so so glad you love the Lisa Eldridge!!! This def could be a blush but best mixed in maybe with a moisturizer as they are very foil like. But super pretty.
I bought nova to wear as a bronze body highlight and it looked beautiful, but it did transfer onto my clothes once I started sweating. Still beautiful though, I want to get stargazer too
DARN IT!!! It bled when you sweated? DARN IT!!! I hate that. But, you're right. They are gorgeous products. The perfect amount of foil shine to the shade amount, etc. I guess nothing stops it from fading a bit or we'd never get it off in the shower but on clothing it's frustrating and on furniture it's embarrassing!
You know, it's such a shame that Melt released this when they did. It's actually a gorgeous product but it's in a SEA of liquid highlighter. I get that this is body too but, still, people are floating in liquid highlighter already!

oh Rebecca, I came so close to buying these so many times. I put them in my cart and then shut down the page probably 10 times, and I also can't decide which to get. If I were to get all of the shades I've been eyeing, I'd get Fetish and Stargazer as actual highlighters, afterglow as a blush and nova as a bronzer. But I just can't decide!
You know I was so torn too!!! Exactly, though. You’re thinking in the right direction. It’s pure highlight and then mixing highlight. Totally different because you wouldn’t, say, mix the pink with your foundation. So it’s confusing. And they get more of our cash.

INTERESTING. No. They are not entirely similar MOSTLY in the fact that this is a tad thicker and just APPLIES so much differently...which can make a difference. BUT is the shade similar??? Certainly. It is actually. maybe prettier???? Am I going to be denied renewal in the Charlotte fan club now?? Haha.
OK. Judy....so Ali at Ali M's Beauty has a theory that, basically, the labs that ALL the brands use end up "inventing" things and selling them to the brands. The brands buy these things and the labs also sell the ideas to other brands who tweak them and make them their own...thus the labs drive the trends. I bet it's true!

But, on the body, you can apply directly. I just won't be using it there that often. Maybe the legs, though.

Yesssss. I was expecting this wild glow. Not at all. I actually used the Peaches and Cream on my shoulders and neck in the new Tom Ford video I filmed yesterday and you can’t really see it. Not a bad thing. It’s just very subtle. More than I expected.
Good info!! However, they marketed in a very non-architect manner. Haha! The video ad is nude bodies slathered in it, and the the slogan is "everything looks better wet." I could care less either way - the names don't bother me, but I know it limits their consumer base because a lot of people won't buy items with overly sensual names. And it isn't exactly something I would buy for my young teen daughter. But for me...I love the product!!

I just refuse to purchase the makeup with these names. I do know what a s foil is but younger and most...do not know. Call me a Catholic prude, but there are somethings I cannot support. I think the world has lost a lot of its' morals. I have also never bought the Nars collection with the name that shall not be mentioned. Why can't they name them things that are not tasteless? The Melt lipstick releases most recently were KILLING me. And all the Nars products. Even Charlotte with her glowgasm. Shoot me. Awful. The newest tease from mother was a pair of red lips and I think lips in the wording. Hmmmmmm…..And yes. The Ouai scent is lovely!!!!

Yesssss. I was expecting this wild glow. Not at all. I actually used the Peaches and Cream on my shoulders and neck in the new Tom Ford video I filmed yesterday and you can’t really see it. Not a bad thing. It’s just very subtle. More than I expected.
Good info!! However, they marketed in a very non-architect manner. Haha! The video ad is nude bodies slathered in it, and the the slogan is "everything looks better wet." I could care less either way - the names don't bother me, but I know it limits their consumer base because a lot of people won't buy items with overly sensual names. And it isn't exactly something I would buy for my young teen daughter. But for me...I love the product!!
Oh my goodness, Kelly. I TOTALLY agree. They SAY it's an architectural name and it's like, "OK....but did you tell your MARKETING team that????" Exactly. haha. It's almost like it should be forbidden. But they'd love that. They really push it with these names and then I have to say them out loud. Haha.
I was hoping there would be six shades to tie in the name… then you said there are seven… total missed opportunity.
Haha. EXACTLY, Sarah! Six to go with the six pronged design. Instead, they admit it's already a word but there's nothing in the product that references the design. Haha. Oh well! Haha. Really nice product and they get to use the three letter S word and that seems to make Melt happy. Hahahah. Bless their slightly immature souls!

I just refuse to purchase the makeup with these names. I do know what a s foil is but younger and most...do not know. Call me a Catholic prude, but there are somethings I cannot support. I think the world has lost a lot of its' morals. I have also never bought the Nars collection with the name that shall not be mentioned. Why can't they name them things that are not tasteless? Am I the only conservative lady left lol? Great review though!
You are NOT the only one who feels this way. I keep getting the paranoid feeling that they just want to see me suffer through saying them out loud during videos. The Melt lipstick releases most recently were KILLING me. And all the Nars products. Even Charlotte with her glowgasm. Shoot me. Awful. I was JUST in my car, before I saw your comment here, giggling to myself. Pat Benetar came on and I remembered that song of hers that had everyone in an uproar because the dance had a slight chest shake by the ensemble women dancing. hahaha. Wow, we've sunk a far ways since then!

I remember him watching a playtex bra commercials and being aggravated and saying with a sigh, “ next thing you know they’ll just be showing the bra without the shirt under it”. How far we’ve come lol. I have 3 young men, I’ve tried to be “cooler” than my dad… ( I wasn’t allowed to watch three’s company) but I think an old old lady still lives in me lol.
