- One of my viewers asked for a settings video so I’m uploading this video of MY settings for this LG 24GN650 monitor.
These MAY NOT be the BEST settings but these are the settings that look good for me and have worked well for me.

In games you wanna bump up sharpnes to at lest 80 i have my at 100..50 is just blury

i personally looked for ths video cause i have your same monitor...man trust me switch off the faster option, you get soo much ghosting. There sure is a difference between fast and faster but not such a big deal tho.
I haven’t noticed any ghosting but I’ll try switching to fast to see if I notice any visual difference.

Can you change the hertz of the monitor ? Like customize it to the hertz i want under 120 ?
nah bro it like changes automatically to what your pc is set to, you cant change it in the monitor itself

You can turn on reduce motion blur only on 120hz games, nhl is not. Freesync also has to be off

Saw from rtings the 27 inch model the response time should be set as normal as it is the most consistent setting, and faster is like the worst setting...., this may be the same for the 24 inch

I’ve got this only in 32” so the 32gn600 how do I get it to run 120hz on my ps5 it only shows 60hz ?

@@Galletti95 no no fix yet but I did find all most all ps5 games are still only 60hz the list of 120hz games is small! The games I’m trying to play are only 60hz

Guys try normal response time and change performance to resolution mode (I know I know everyone recommends performance, shhh just try it first)

"Faster" Setting looks horrible on PS5, idk what it is, i use the regular HDMI cable that came with the PS5 and i think that im going to Buy a HDMI to DP converter to see if it changes something, also warzone at distance looks bad, a Lots of grainy and low-res effect. Free sync is a no-no, too much input lag, DAS Mode is always activated cant turn it off, VRR and LLM doesnt work it says that doesnt have support, Motion blur reduction works OK i still see a Little ghosting.

Hey, got the same monitor. Tried your settings and it looks kinda washed out? Dunno. I dont like the colors, nor the contrast on this screen tbh. The contrast is very very bad no matter the settings. Also the colors look dumb with such low contrast imho. Eiter way, my settings are - 144hz | Gamer 1 | FreeSync Basic | Black Stabilizer 0 | Response Time Fast | Brightness 90 | Contrast 70 | Sharpness 50 | Gama Mode 4 | Color Temp Warm | Black Levels High | SES OFF. Using an AMD GPU here and from the drivers menu i did up the Saturation to 150 also Color Temperature set to 6500. If you are using Nvidia there should be an option for Digital Vibrance that's similar to AMD's Saturation but not quite the same. The only option blocked out is the Motion Blur Reduction and that's by design if you are using FreeSync. Also using a DP cable here. Try my settings and tell me how it goes aight? Hope it helps!
Just a small update. After some more fiddling i found a way to make it look quite decent. At least for my eyes.. Brightness 100 | Gama Mode 3 | Black Stabilizer 30. Rest of the settings are the same as above. The colors pop nicely now. Contrast is a bit better also. Hope it helps anyone!

@@nguyenanghainam6431 Hi! And no! You can activate the HDR feature from Windows. But not recommend. Do to the monitors 816:1 real contrast ratio, that on a certified HDR10. Also there's a known bug for AMD users, that breaks the colors even after you deactivated the HDR. So yeah, clearly not recommended on this monitor. PS: the HDR10 certification on this monitor is just a marketing gimmick. Sadly.. There just to boost the price a bit.

@@CSRE26 Hey friend! Depends on the model indeed. On this particular monitor it is useful, because of the low contrast ratio. So i would keep it between 30-50% - With the settings above, turning it to 0 would make things a bit too dark imho. || SMALL UPDATE - Made some tests on Nvidia as well. 70% digital vibrance will be neccessary here. Also disabling Freesync helps the image/colors A LOT! The colors tend to fade on anything lower than 40 fps on this model. Disabling FS made a world of difference for me. Hope it helps!
Bro my games stay at 60hz. What do I do?
Any reason why my contrast and sharpness and all the other setting besides brightness is not letting me access. Just only adjust the brightness?
Never mind. It’s because my HDR was on for my ps5

to get over 144hz you need to use a display port cable instead of an HDMI cable

No it does have real HDR it comes om when I turn my series s to 4k buy only limited to 60hz. But on certain games like battlefield hdr comes on by itself it's certain games.

hey i have a queston, when i sit on home screen for xbox it shows 120, when i load up like cod or forza or gta, or any other game, its only at 60
Enable it in your Xbox display settings. If it’s already enabled in Xbox settings then you have to enable performance mode on the game you’re playing for higher frame rate.

i have this same monitor with a ps5 and im stuck at 60Hz . ive changed my settings. still nothing. does it have something to with the HDMI cord? Since i just used my ps5 one because the one the monitor came with doesn't fit my ps5
the monitor will switch to 120 hz when you get into a game that is capable with 120 hz. if you are on the ps5 home screen it will stay at 60 hz

Defective maybe? I’ve never had an issue with this monitor at all. Good bang for my buck 👍🏽

Free sync is not on PS5 last time I checked. I have not changed my settings since I made this video.
I would say tho. This monitor looks dry which i know your version is a 1080p ips i know it doesnt look like that on cam but i would def get a new cam.
Like my end it looks washed out and horrible if i was to look at this video and thinking about getting the monitor i would quickly pass
Does it cause eyestrain you for long periods or is it easy on the eyes
I have never gotten eye strain from playing long hours on this monitor. Sometimes I play for up to 12 hours with a few bathroom and snack breaks in between. But then again we are all different and your experience could be different than mine.

I have a LG not the same but very similar Monitor bit sounds doesn’t work for me Brodie tried changing setting disconnecting but audio doesn’t work. Only when I’m in a party and have my headset on I can hear my buddies but not the game can u help me somehow ? Thanks for showing settings tho .
You probably fixed it by now, but when I plugged mine in for the first time, for some reason my computer changed the audio output to the monitor instead of my headphones. Try to change the audio output in windows or in the game.

I’m not familiar with gigabyte G24F. You will have to decide that for yourself. This is my first ever monitor and I’m happy with it.
Hi if you can answer my question you a legend so I contacted lg questioning if this 8 bit panel they respond it support ,8 and 10 bit but but some reviews and specs on the internet Said is 6 bit +FRC IDK what to trust

120 only works when you are on a game that supports 120 fps, it turns back to 60 once you go to a game that only has 60 fps

You can’t output audio from the monitor. It doesn’t have built in speakers

I had this problem too and I didn’t find a fix I just used the settings that were available to me. There might be one but I just found it very frustrating and time consuming. When I get home from work I’ll toy around with it a bit more and try to find a fix. If there is one I’ll get back to you on that.
@@ftlfonso i found a fix, i think you’re supposed to disable hdr, that’s what i did at least 🙂

@@tissue5900 it's in middle on bottom of monitor not sure how to move up and down with it tho it's an awkward set up in my opinion

I have a bad experience with this monitor i purchased it from amazon after 6 days i change may pc position from hall to my room after 1 day i was casually playing CS:GO and the screen went black after restarting it starts saying no signal on displayport, I tried hdmi cable but the result was same so i have to replace it 😢
