@PAWTheGoldStandard and here come the Jon Jones simps. If Jon Jones wasn't terrified of Tom Aspinall, who is faster than Jon, mind you, most likely stronger too. He lost to Reyes and barely dealt with Anthony Smith.
Jon is NOT a heavyweight!.. He had no intentions on defending the belt when he won it ...He just wanted to get the 2 division champ status, and he knew he could get it against the most stylistically favorable fight for him in the division
I think the strategy of the Miocic vs N Gannou 2 was not good. If he lost weight it was probably to be faster and fight mainly in boxing, thinking that his opponent would expect the same fight as the 1. For me against Jones, we won't have to be too wait-and-see, he has to think knocked out
My big issue with the backup fighter is that it means nothing. When Jon and Stipe agreed to fight they signed a contract saying as much. When a backup fighter is announced, both fighters in the main event must also sign a contract to fight the backup fighter so if either of the main event fighters are not able to compete then a bout can still go ahead. With this is mind, how did Stipe dodge Tom last time? Or was there a clause we were not told about?
If Stipe waits until day of the fight to pull out so Jon HAS to fight Tom, it would be such a G move. Jon would be forced fight Tom or his legacy would be tainted by fans saying he's scared of Tom. That's such a WWE plot twist .

0:47 you do Gane Vs Aspinall to finally make sure Tom is indeed the top of the top…if not and Gane wins then Jon just retires anyway knowing he beat the guy that beat Tom
He's beaten 5 of the top 10. Gane was 1-1 in his last two coming off a win against Tai Tuivasa (who has lost 5 fights since). Reyes' last win before getting to fight Jon was against Chris Weidman who was 1-4 (all finishes) in his last five and making his light heavyweight debut. But supposedly Tom still needs to prove himself before even getting the shot against Jon despite being the interim champ and having defended it.
(I’m not saying Stipe can’t beat Jon BUT…) The best and most hilarious way possible for Stipe to beat Jon, is to pull out last minute and be like “Sorry, Jon. I have to do laundry tonight… Good luck with Aspinall, pal! You got this! lol”
Stipe was never even scared of Ngannu , and after stipe got knocked out brutally, just few months after, stipe did few interviews where he said that he want to get back in the cage soon with ngannu and get the belt back. Even tho Tom is the backup and according to Sonen the fight has to go on i don’t believe that is in Jones interest so he will say no. Now who wins if the booked fight does actually happen i hope it is Stipe because i can’t stand Jon Jones but my instinct says Jones because Stipe is way over the hill
Tom is going to pull a Nancy Kerrigan on Stipe
0:47 you do Gane Vs Aspinall to finally make sure Tom is indeed the top of the top…if not and Gane wins then Jon just retires anyway knowing he beat the guy that beat Tom
He's beaten 5 of the top 10. Gane was 1-1 in his last two coming off a win against Tai Tuivasa (who has lost 5 fights since). Reyes' last win before getting to fight Jon was against Chris Weidman who was 1-4 (all finishes) in his last five and making his light heavyweight debut. But supposedly Tom still needs to prove himself before even getting the shot against Jon despite being the interim champ and having defended it.
jones has been retired for years. gane is irrelevant.
aspinall is the undisputed heavyweighy champ and we all know it.
Hello there Jeffry Dahmer nice to see you survived the beat down in prison and have your own MMA show now lol
The casual fans are whining so bad about jones vs stipe but real fans of the sport are excited for it
Guess there isn't many real fans then.
Just give Tom the belt as he’s the only one willing to fight.
Uncle Chael please answer this for me.
Why is the ufc giving a "curtain call" title fight to both Stipe and Jon?
(I’m not saying Stipe can’t beat Jon BUT…) The best and most hilarious way possible for Stipe to beat Jon, is to pull out last minute and be like “Sorry, Jon. I have to do laundry tonight… Good luck with Aspinall, pal! You got this! lol”
I gotta start using "ear to the grindstone"
But Stipe ain’t 260 pounds.

Gaining weight isn't too difficult for most
It's fine if Stipe doesn't show up. Tom is the backup fighter & so that will be the match-up. That's the fight people really want to see anyway.
😂 I've been saying he's retired for a year
I really hope neither turn up.. and the Belt is left for Tom makes sense to me
Jones wouldn't fight DC as a replacement,no chance he takes on Tom on short notice.
Yeah cuz dc is retired and fat
@@jaredtaylor326 idiot
Beautiful
Is someone in the room with Chael arguing with him that we can’t hear? “I’m just reminding you of the time”
“Hang on I’m getting there”
The UFC is not actively promoting this fight. All we need to know.
I have not heard this at all
Stipe probably already had some CTE before that Ngganou rematch and thought they were fighting at Light Heavyweight for some reason
Stipe ducked out of fighting Sergei, so theres history of him backing out of fighting a back up fighter. Keep up Uncle Chael.
Just a regular fire fighter beating up the biggest monsters in the world -- stipe miocic. Real G.
Stipe was never even scared of Ngannu , and after stipe got knocked out brutally, just few months after, stipe did few interviews where he said that he want to get back in the cage soon with ngannu and get the belt back. And then things happened in his life and things got delayed. And you're saying he is afraid of Tom? Man y'all delusional.
It’s crazy to think that all these new UFC fans think that Jon Jones is afraid of Tom and that Stipe won’t show up for the fight. That’s not the case for either one of these guys, they’re not afraid to fight anyone
Stipe will show. He has no fear
