Personally, i think the color pallet upstairs was a mistake..while several tones, it still reads all beige, which is always depressing...even the taupe walls, which is not a true beige, can't save this. It reads cheap, inexperianced. Still, THAT'S easy enough to fix. Oddly, beige is often the choice of an amateur decorator, afraid of making a mistake. And TONES of beige, instead of one, with white, burys it. Still, i really like the house, and the architectural aspects of this very modern reno..no box with little boxes here. And it's rare to get a basement appartment with so much light. Which was beautifully planned that way...
