    Shout-outs to the awesome members of the community that took the time to show me how to do this - This is the simple variant, and could definitely be optimized further, but I hope it provides a general idea of how you set this effect up!     For something like this, it's better to use a Notify State instead of a plain Notify, because the State is equipped to handle being interrupted. With plain Notifies, if the animation gets interrupted before the trail is turned off, it'll most likely stay on until you attack again.

      That or have some extra bp logic for interruptions like hit/dodge

    This entire system could've been made inside a custom Notify State.

      Judging by what's happening right now, I wonder if Godot will even still be around by the time he's done with Unreal.

      @@Mcl_Blue idk, the anti woke drones boycotting seems less important than unity's whole thing, since there's still points they haven't backtracked and can just try and pull it again more sneakily in the future

    To me unreal is unnecessary overcomplicated, crazy engine
