this deck rules. I haven't even been playing with an optimized mana base and I still get the combo off most games. one of my favorite decks to play right now.

I'm looking forward to trying this once I have enough wild cards. I got to Diamond in Standard Ranked with your "Goldspam" Dragon deck so I feel pretty confident that this will do the same
It works wonderfully. While I can’t say I’m going 7-# in standard event I’m going 4:3, or 5/3. Good for me, and that’s not accounting for the games I lost because of a phone crash or misclick. Lost 2 games due in the last 2 events I played because of a misclick. Fool me once, shame on me, full me twice...
Depending upon how much you care about the scoring, the problem has always been relative scaling and this is certainly one of the best examples of this. In short, Resiliency just isn't as important as offense and a 10 isn't only "twice as good" as a 5. I think the 10 point scale is great on each individual attribute. You've been doing this long enough that those scores are going to be reliably accurate and consistent across decks. If you had a choice between a deck that had 10 Offense and 5 Resiliency or 5 Offense and 10 Resiliency, you'd shuffle up the 10 Offense deck practically every time barring a peculiar meta. When you're aggregating you scores, Resiliency should be weighted less than Offense. A bit more nuanced is the relatively value *within* a 10 point scale. This sounds a little contractory with my prior statement that I love the 10 point scale, but hear me out. The 10 points scale, particularly because you don't try to add a tenths digit, acts as a *ranking* statistic more than specific quantitative value. What I mean by that is that an 8 on your scale is better than a 6 which is better than a 4. But is an 8 "twice as good" as a 4? I'd argue the negative. I think the higher that number is, the faster it scales and vice versa. From a practical perspective, a 1, 2, or 3 are very close in overall value to the deck - there are few or no cases where a 3 Defense deck is going survive when a 1 Defense deck wouldn't. 1, 2, 3 just all group together into "very bad." on the upper end, however, there can be a pretty big difference between a 8, 9, 10. An 8 is a solidly defensive deck with tools that are going to be hard to break through. A 10 is a utter brickwall of a deck. You pretty much lose to combo and decking and nothing else. The value towards winning a game from a 10 defense is going to be really high compared to an 8. With a additive scale, a 10 would only be 25% better than an 8 and I think the true difference in is far high than 25%. What's the system? We say Offense is twice as good as Resiliency so let's weight office Offense as 1.25. And Resiliency of 0.75
This combo fits well in dimir or esper control shell too. Just switch your behold the multiverse for warlock class and you only need two spots for scourge as an alternate win condition
I have a super combat focused esper deck with stuff like mallison and sparring technique, but the combo is amazing as a backup Wincon against stuff like lifegain or control
I built this deck on MTG Arena last night after this video was released, and went up against mono red dwarves playing Goldspan Dragon I had no blockers when he attacked with everything and attached an Embercleave to the Dragon. I still win the game because of Blood on the Snow and the combo.
So just because this is an OTK deck and there are problem cards that are currently in the format people won't play the deck. I say no problem I'll keep winning with this deck and increase my rank along the way

Been enjoying this build quite a bit, traded the Hagar mauling and a basic for two copy’s of the life drain zenidkar land and yeah it feels like win more, but i think it helps make the scourge a little more playable than just the 7 drop finisher. Also I think dropping lol the for another Lilliana is more synergistic, don’t know for sure tho cuz don’t have the wildcards for the second copy #freetoplaymtga also Dev I still wanna rap battle you and also when you just gonna drop the full cuts of those dirty opening tracks?

Imagine a card that allows you to sacrifice ten treasure tokens and make a gem token. Which can be sacrificed to pay the full written casting cost of any spell. Including life cost if there. Maybe adjust the pricing of this a bit...

The comment I posted was meant to show that the deck has real power behind it, not my complaints about what my opponent was playing.
Also since then I've faced a few Sky Noodle decks, and won. I also faced the dreaded rogues with Lurrus and won that game as well.
So just because this is an OTK deck and there are problem cards that are currently in the format people won't play the deck. I say no problem I'll keep winning with this deck and increase my rank along the way

Could this same ramp/control package be used to make Vorpal Sword viable?
Check out MtG Goldfish for a viable V-Sword deck. The key seems to be Trample. Because Trample + Deathtouch make an excellent combo!
