Mark is spot on here. Having family and other wise objective Christian counsel weighing in on one's dating/courtship choices can be very helpful. Emotion is not reality, therefore do NOT be physical beyond holding hands, hugging perhaps, kissing on the cheek once in a while. I would add go out of your way to NEVER be alone with that person you're dating or are attracted to, do activities with third party accountability where you've told someone what your doing, time you'll be back perhaps etc.
Mark has help me to be better person today. Not only that, I have share his videos with my friends whose also ha r gain a lot of strength in their marriages.
I'm Muslim, and I love his speech and most of things about relationships are true and same in islam. that's why in Muslim countries relationship are very strong and less divorce rate.
I don't understand why people rate you down, because you are right.. A lot of non-christians will dismiss what he says and use the christianity part as an excuse to not believe anything he says here, even if he's right. That's how people think nowadays and it's sad..
she has great point all along from the beginning (that goes unanswered): it is indeed hard to find good guys. However, the opposite is just as true. So, where's the missing link? Could it be physical beauty just happens to override character beauty?
In the philippines theres no divorce but theres anulment which is just a workaround to avoid making priests angry.. renaming it. like marriage vs civil union.
Its not an Arab or Muslim thing... Its the Eastern culture... In India, in China... Korea and Japan... This is the culture... or has been atleast for thousands of years....
I wish Gungor would get Christianity and God out of his advice because he says is universal. If you can exclude that, then what he says is important. Arranged marriages often last the distance, but why??? Because they are happy together or because their culture prohibits divorce? I am the last to say you should pull the plug at the first difficulty, but if you don't have the opportunity to do so at *any* time then it's not a proper gauge for whether or not you are happily partnered...
I think mark might say "Get over it". They have an episode about people who feel unciomfortable. Btw you need a little contrast, you need someone who won't steal the spotlight from mark. She needs to grow into the role so give her some time.
Then why does my heart deeply pound when I'm in love and with my lady friend whom I've known for eight years, now, rather than not? I love everyone but my heart doesn't "sing" (beat heavily/pound) for plants, animals and mechanical objects or people in general. We both laugh and cry when we share intimate things, we do this because we share a common bond, something attracted us from as soon as we saw each other. Whether it's from the cosmos/universe/God. I was born a catholic and still am but recognize all religions/faiths as we are all one. Intellectualizing on ones faith and trying to capitalize on it, makes you a non believer. Opposites attract, yes but commonality is the central part in who/what we are. Aside from emotion and intellectualization, we are all one.
This point annoyed me. English is a terribly basic language. Greek has lots of different words meaning different types of feelings, but we translate them all as "love". That's why we have three linguistic gymnastics of "I love you, but I'm not in love with you". If we had multiple words then no one would have a problem with it. As a pastor, he should understand this as the New Testament has this distinction in the original Greek, but he's too busy trying to deliberately put down people who are struggling to be intellectually honest - which is a shame, because many of his points are really good, but the delivery is terrible and not Christian
I am pagan, and I understand the importance of not having pre marital sex and all what he is telling. Also pagans, ateist have brains like christians jews and muslims. 1st rule dont judge :)
hej i wish that you could talk about relationships from a Swedish perspective. here kids learn that there is no difference between men and women. as soon as you talk about generalities people get really upset. The majority of the Christian church here does no longer teaches that sex outside of marriage is wrong; dating non-Christians or Christians does not matter; marriage is between any two people; most people live together first then after a few children they get married. help
That is tragic. I'm very sorry for Sweden and most of Europe. Secular humanism and modern leftist liberalism have infiltrated many churches where the Bible and God's word takes a back seat and is censored by the so called tolerant.
try going a day without making sin, even ur thought is sin and u can¨t help a sinful thought once in a while. my view is god probably doesn¨t judge us for being human, god probably would not like it if we tried not being human, because that¨s not the way we are and that is suffering. i have never heard god wants us to suffer, the bible is for avoiding suffering, it¨s god¨s way to help us out of problems. i have never... EVER heard of a human being who hasn¨t sinned even after coming to faith
In many of those countries only the neb can initiate divorce. If a woman tries to leave they are beaten, raped and/or murdered and nothing is done to the husband because she is his property
only a 5% divorce rate in countries where arranged marriage is common. Well this are also the countries where women would be probably stoned to death when they'd propose divorce. What an annoying guy!!
This women? Stop interjecting your opinion stop stop stop. She is taking away from the conversation. Just have him like Dr Phil only the pastor would be much better😀
This guy is great! Finally someone that is very frank and honest about romance and how God meant for us to use it.
I love this Mark. He is so so rare. His teachings are so transforming. Wow. I am learning so well.

The church doesn't need celebrity pastors!! The church needs apostles in the church today that spoke the truth in the new testament!!
i 100% agree with your response
In the philippines theres no divorce but theres anulment which is just a workaround to avoid making priests angry.. renaming it. like marriage vs civil union.

I think mark might say "Get over it". They have an episode about people who feel unciomfortable.
Btw you need a little contrast, you need someone who won't steal the spotlight from mark. She needs to grow into the role so give her some time.
That’s why arrange marriages work the best.
he needs a radiio show
I love him but I am not IN love with him... I so agree with him on that...

arranged marriage-i dont think they're allowed to get divorced....
God is and always has been the source of my soul.
that was unique
If you end up marrying a narcissist and the mask doesn't come off until after the wedding.... yup, I understand the 7 day wake up.
Wendy
I have a lot of experience with Narcissists too. I was born a Narc-magnet. Sounds like you were too. Peace and happiness to you.
hej

Interesting you say that there is no divorce in those countries.. Hmm so the 5% is illegal divorce? Selah
In many of those countries only the neb can initiate divorce. If a woman tries to leave they are beaten, raped and/or murdered and nothing is done to the husband because she is his property

That woman drives me crazy... she needs to stop interjecting.
Because it's an arranged marriage, it's miserable. You see. Western thinking.
I dont like the woman... :-( she is a distraction from what he is trying to say.
Sex makes you stupid if you are in your twenties, but not when you are a bit more experienced...
"Stupid is as stupid does" has no age limitations,,,,,,
This women? Stop interjecting your opinion stop stop stop. She is taking away from the conversation. Just have him like Dr Phil only the pastor would be much better😀
I agree this woman thinks she needs to steal the show and I doubt if she understands anything about being a submissive woman.?
I care about that .....
premaritial sex it's not a natural sex....
They are both annoying!!
Please stop saying "for the love of God"--you are using it so casually its blasphemy.
He used God's name in vain a few times and people are laughing!! God said to never use his name in vain!!
