No propeller there, it has an Impeller, with a water intake right before the transom, and probably a ride plate extension back of the transom. Hence the gnarly 🐓 behind it.
Looks like the Columbia river to me. He can definitely get ticketed, the sheriff patrols on boat every day during summer. I believe the entire river has a 45 mph speed limit.
That's actually how I describe driving a high-speed boat. Yaw and roll are on the steering wheel and throttle. Pitch and speed on the throttle, trim, and jackplate. Now, balance a couple thousand pounds on an area that is 6x12 inches with those levers.
Skeeter Bass Boats can move and handles so well at speed yet provides a stable fishing deck. Just boarding and disembarking from that speedboat is iffy.
Those jet boats are sick! My dad's buddy had one that was fast af! We went for a ride and I was peeling from a sunburn, and going that fast was peeling my skin off!
Ya they might be slower, but sitting next to that badass motor doing 85 with my skin peeling off was pretty badass!! It had a middle finger painted on the bottom of the boat He'd hit a wave and flip the boat up. Thing was sick!
If you wanna talk FAST boats talk about blower motors in boats, they are literally full pedal to the metal literally! They are on the ragged edge of becoming one of the world's largest grenades!

For those of you who think this is a lake it's actually the snake river between lewiston Idaho and Clarkston Washington. The southway Bridge is behind them and the elks lodge is the big building on the hill at the end. Almost 100 percent sure 😊 ,
I've spent a lot of time on Lake Havasu in a houseboat. I got kinda nervous when I see someone coming towards me at 100+ when all I got is maybe 10 at the most. So far so good!

@jethroboorer2860 don't think it's a jet. Its propeller trimmed out maybe a jack plate. I've seen this on many bass boats.
My Stroker 21 was running 101 and an odf shore blew by like I was in idle. My Jaw dropped. Had to be doing well over 130
