There are a ton of math tutorial videos on TH-cam, but there is something about the way you explain things and the calming presence of your voice that makes it so much easier to understand. I always watch multiple videos on the same subject only to find yours and things finally click. Thanks so much for what you do!
You is a gift from God, You are a blessing,, and I want to say Thank you very much. You make everything that seemed hard at first easy. Thank you and God bless you.
I take my GED this year, your videos are really helping me out! Thank you so so much! Your explinations are so clear and really helpful! God bless you sir :)
Thank you so much for this, I was very confused when this was first discussed to us, now I fully understand the lesson. Please continue to upload more videos, you saved us all - an online class student
I swear to god you’re the best mathematician I’ve been watching your videos since and I can now boldly say that I’m not afraid to solve maths questions because your explanations is top notch ❤
THANK YOU!! Very clear, and a relaxing voice!! I used this for one of my math problems because I didn’t understand how to use the formula at all!! Turns out, I didn’t need to do that problem but now I know how to use the formula and I have a test in two days so 🤷♀ sweet ig lol
as a struggling grade 8, this helped me alot since i couldnt even answer any of the math questions when its trigonometry class since i was always absent on mondays thank you so much
You are a nice tutor Your videos have helped me alot even when I’m preparing for exams You take your time to go into details and your explanations makes me understand what i want to know Thank you so much
This vid has clear objective and has more detail and easy to follow up with his every equation than my online classes! Online class are boring! Wasting our 10 mins for one example and this vid is only few minutes LOL 😂
YAAAGGHHH!! I have been studying and rn i think i have some idea on this topic. i will cm bk and report if i learnt anything from this video!! edit: at first i thought there was a problem but watching ur video, i was able to find a mistake in my workings. Thanks!
Thank you for keeping things short and to the point. My professor was all over the place when teaching this and skipped around making it really difficult to follow. Now it makes perfect sense to me and you're a life saver!
thank you, sir! as much as i love learning math, i kinda hate this topic. i always find math amazing when you get to do ways to shortcut things, but this topic needs long solutions. wish me luck :))
Thanks to you, I now know how to do law of cosines properly. I do wonder why when it comes to solving an angle with law of cosines that I have to move the a^2 and b^2 to the other side? Other than that, I understand everything seen here, I just have questions on the "why?" of it.
The purpose of moving all the variables to the other side of the equation is to isolate the expression (cosC) because C is the measure of the angle you’re trying to find. If the angle is unknown*
Lol, this is my first time learning in advance, our lessons in math isn't about this but meh, this is actually fascinating that I wanted to learn it fast lol

With classes now online, you are basically my teacher now..

Relatable, our prof doesn't teach us a thing. Smh.

I find it so extremely Erie that this comment now says 1 year ago.
how did he convert to degrees? I know how to convert with pi/180 to radians but got something different. At what part did he convert?

idk why you teach me more than a 90 minute lecture man. Thank you so much
Without you I wouldn’t be able to maintain an A in my class I am eternally grateful
Thank you so much, Organic Chemistry Tutor! You're so helpful to many and many of us wouldn't understand these lessons without you
The way his teaching and his calm voice make me never stress when studying while watching this dude
I agree my guy :)
I take my GED this year, your videos are really helping me out! Thank you so so much! Your explinations are so clear and really helpful! God bless you sir :)
As usual, I learn more about law of cosines in this video then a teacher that taught this for 2 weeks and I had no idea until I saw this.
When your math teacher uses the easiest problems for examples, you don’t learn much..
Boi I dont know how I am learning more here than in class.
This is literally my teacher and I wanna smack the shit outta her
It's just illustration
To show how the formula or general result works
The part of problem solving is upon you
Thank you for doing these. Your explanations are SO clear and concise.
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another awesome video on The Law of Cosines. This is the backbone of Trigonometry.
Just got a 94 in my Trigonometry class because of you ❤
Bruh I still got a D+ on my quiz. Man, math isn’t for me😢
He is the best. I always go to him first. So patient and kind. I sure would like to see his face.

You know ,i listened to my teachers for many years to understand those methods You did better in 10mins
You're the 21s legend brother
3 years later, helping me pass my demonstration of learning 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙇🏼♀️
I have my ACT coming up in a few days so this video really helped me with things I forgot
My math teacher hasn’t taught us anything the whole quarantine, you just saved me sir thank you:)
there is a better formula for SSS, like cos C= a2+b2-c2 /2 x a x b, cosA= b2+c2-a2 / 2 x a x b, cosB= a2+c2-b2 / 2 x a x c

Thank you for this video. Very helpful because I had to miss a class this week and this easily summed up the information that I had missed.
Thank you for this I'm sure I know how to do this, but it's been a while since I've done math. I am currently in engineering by the way.

Isn’t angel A= 180- angel C - angel B which is equal to 180- 73.4 -48.2= 58.4 ?
Also thank you for your lessons they’re really helpful.
yes, the videos from 2006 are really helping cause as far as I know, math hasn't really changed and im still passing.

Do you use your computer mouse to write? Thank you so much! Our teacher is moving to Maine so it looks like we really need u :/
7:48 it’s the law of sines not the law of cosines
Not really a big deal :/

where did that -1 come from and how did you get 73 degrees for the angle
It’s the inverse that you type in the calc to find the degrees

7:46 I think he meant "Now let's use the laws of sine"
I was checking to see if someone said that
I’m a little confused because teacher gave me the formula cos
I’m pretty sure your formula and the video’s formula are equivalent (they end up with the same answer), so you can use either!
you are a grade savior
You're a life saver
It is so great !! Best explained
2:55 i don't get where did you get the cosine, i calculated the cosine but the result isn't same as in the video
where did the A=130-something come from? At the end?
Good explanation. Thank you.

You're exactly like me, I love finding my own way out of problems if I can find one xD
Better that my teacher
you are a genius
When do you know to have your calculator in radian or degree mode?
how did you get the 1/2?
cos 60 degrees on the unit circle equals 1/2
during the 2nd example how did you know to use the law of cosines for CosC and not CosA or CosB?
i’m wondering the same thing
Thanks to you, I now know how to do law of cosines properly. I do wonder why when it comes to solving an angle with law of cosines that I have to move the a^2 and b^2 to the other side? Other than that, I understand everything seen here, I just have questions on the "why?" of it.

4:32 should the triangle technically not exist since more positive 1
This is easy thanks,so this applies to everything in the law of cosine right or is there something else we need to learn ?
