Wow, the climber coming down from summit, much faster than the people going up. RIP to Daniel Paul Paterson and Pas Tenji Sherpa, that fell at the Hillary Step to South Summit section. Apparently the route broke and others had to be rescued.
You view from the hotel is a much nicer way to experience Everest than those folks in the conga line near the summit, stepping over dead people. (I'm not against mountain climbing, but Everest has become something strange and gruesome.)
Someone on the summit descending very fast at 1:43 am reaching Hillary Step in less then 20 minutes...and cross with a small group going up! Amazing! The line of lights on the right of the footage seems to be climbers leaving Camp 4
Seeing the long lines of people waiting on the mountain to ascend Everest, looks like the queue at Disney. Is this still mountain climbing or merely an adventure experience for them rich?
Stars and galaxies of the night sky above everest plus man made satellites that shoot past. as this footage is speeded up they look like shooting stars 😀
Are you referring to Donald Cash? Webcamnepal would know better. Kirui passed this year in 2024. Cash’s body was the one that most people have pictures of before the earthquake that surfaced online more notably.
