the app just keeps crashing every time it loaded up to the home page. I even tried different versions, but still kept crashing.
This happened with me too.
I found a soultion that worked for me though.
Re-install the application, but don't tap on it to use TH-cam.
Instead, go through Safari and type in www.youtube.com.
Safari should connect to TH-cam, and you should be able to see the latest videos display, and thus be able to search for whatever you want to search for.
Let me know how this works out for you.

@@TechnicalTick I know that 14.10 is too new for ios 5 but when i write version lower then 14 then it will not load because the versions that are 13 or lower are gotten out of support last month i think, coz before last month the app in ios 9 and the app in ios 5 worked perfectly, so what should i do to fix it on ios 5 my app version is 1.3.0 because the lastest vesion on ios 5 that supports app is that version. I've changed version that 14.17.10 / 14.11 / 14.14 but never work.
Could you know another app version on IOS 9.3.5?
I had the same problem.
I deleted the TH-cam app and downloaded the last compatible version, as it says at 0:34.
Then I changed the app version to 14.17.10.
Now it works again.

@@jeajun123123 That's unfortunate. It still works for me, although TH-cam app sometimes crashes when I'm using search, regardless of the edited version (14.17.10 or 14.11 or 14.14).
Do you have some Cydia tweaks installed that might affect the app? If you do, perhaps you could try removing them temporarily.
I have mikoto (to get rid of the ads) and DisableTH-camUpdates (to disable TH-cam's "Update Required" notifications).
