I'm so glad this property has been restored by a new owner. I'm so tired of seeing videos of beautiful old houses slatted for demolition because some developer wants to build townhouses or warehouses.
@womanofheart4952 can you share where you heard of & saw updates? @BigBankz that would be great for you to add to the channel! Anytime a place is either demolished &turned into something else or, even better, gets new life to become someone's home again!
@BigBankz can you do follow ups on these places when they are saved & given me life or even demolished & repurposed into something else? That would be an amazing addition that may actually be less expensive & allow you to do it from home? Just a thought!
All I can think about is the poor wee dog that you found. So very sad. I wonder if he got stuck in that wardrobe then got out when everyone was gone, then got tangled up. Poor little sweet dog. Thank you BigBankz for an enjoyable video. 🙏🏻
Dear GOD that one gilded mirror with the marble base! I have seen mirrors very similar to that one go for $20,000! I agree that the furniture is an eclectic collection of European, Mediterranean, even Asian furnishings from all over the globe! The one small gold table with the center that looks like a portrait of Marie Antoinette (didn't get a long enough look) has a very Victorian look about it. I am so pleased to hear that this absolute jewel of a home is being restored. Most likely the furnishings are included in the sale and I am ecstatic to know that gorgeous furniture is not going to simply rot away with time. Excellent find, BigBankz. Well done.
@@joanntumbleson4169I love dolls that little girls from prominent families had custom made by doll makers to look just like them! Mother had a doll maker out of NYC make a doll from a portrait my grandfather sent him. They were having a beautiful suit made for Mother for her eighth birthday and they ordered enough fabric to send to the doll maker, who had a replica suit designed for the doll. Mother was so excited, although she said it was a bit creepy having a doll with your own face staring back at you! Unfortunately, the alcoholic uncle fell asleep with a cigarette, when Mother was away at university, and the back bedrooms caught fire and most of Mother's dolls were destroyed. She never forgave the uncle. At least we have pictures of her dolls. Her custom built dollhouse went up in flames, along with Mother's beautiful winter wardrobe.
What a beautiful home and that dollhouse is gorgeous. Glad this home was saved and hope all of the vintage pieces were also restored. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day.
That is a gorgeous house. As a collector myself it’s so sad to see all those dolls left behind. I’m so glad it has new owners and that they restored it. Thank you so much for sharing.
You should try to get a hold of the current owners and see if they would let you do a tour now that it is all fixed up and find out their story why they wanted to fix it up.

I'm so glad this magnificent home was saved and that dollhouse blew me away, wow the craftsmanship! Rest in peace sweet puppers 🙏 That broke my heart, I just pray he didn't suffer..😢
This simply breaks my heart 💔 All of the beautiful, pristinely, priceless dolls, stained glass, coins, collectibles, antique furniture, antique doll church sooo intricately made!!! All such a shame to let go to the elements 😞😢😰 Sooo many others could get sooo much productive use out of the one of a kind items 👍🙏💕 Thank you Carter for sharing yet another wonderful adventure with us!!! I loved it 👍🙏♥️
My mom didn’t want my brother and I home alone when she worked. The babysitter we had and I got big box and built doll house. It had all the rooms. We cut out pics from catalog to make wall pics. Used clay to make dishes, pans food. Made little cereal boxes. Did a bathroom. Fridge, oven, tables , chairs. Got carpet and linoleum samples for floor. Made curtains. We had so much fun. One day after I’d brought home my mom gave to my aunt for my nieces. I was so mad
This house is amazing. I’d love to have the dolls and doll house. The coin collection. My mom was born 1935 which was one penny you said. Hopefully someone saves this and all the treasures
This was a great video, thank you! All that old furniture and lighting fixtures and fireplaces. So much left behind. But I thought it was strange that someone took all of the books out of the office, yet left everything else, even photos. Another thing - dolls creep me out even more than ghosts (I don't believe in ghosts) but all of those little faces and eyes could give me nightmares...that's just me.
Hi Banks It could be fantastically exciting if you went back to this beautiful property and talked to the new owners, hear from them how much they have preserved and kept of the beautiful things in the house, whether anything has been sold at, for example, on sale, and whether the cost of restoring the site. Man, I would love to see and hear about it. Thanks for another great video.
You sure found a beautiful place as I have a few of the dolls she has there so I can’t imagine how much all the dolls and stuff would be worth as it’s amazing how it’s frozen in time. Thank you so much for sharing with us .😊
That doll house is stunning. So beautiful. Must have cost a fortune to build it. Never seen one that big before. Holy!! Agree this one is the best so far. I'm wondering if all that woodwork was hand crafted. Certainly looks that way. Glad to hear it was saved, hope the dolls are saved as well. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That's why I love these old houses and buildings most of them are fairly unique. And they used such beautiful little touches in them that they don't use anymore today they just put them up and that's it everybody's house looks like everybody else's house I love this house I was just sort of surprised at the small staircase I would have expected a much larger elegant staircase in this home
The stringed instrument is an antique Bavarian harp. Agreed, the wood work in this house is phenomenal, but commonly done in the late 18th Century. The teapot looking piece is a vintage cast iron brass pot with tool and top, which is a cauldron fire starter.
Wow, I am thrilled to have experienced this and witnessed it live! The transformation of this beautiful house is truly inspiring, showcasing the power of renovation and the potential for positive change.
I live in Tennessee! I am going to research this beautiful place, so that I can see it, once the restoration is complete. If it's turned into a B&B, guess who will be making a reservation? I am so freaking excited over the dolls that I had to slow my breathing because I was about to hyperventilate! Why, mah good Sir, Ah do believe that Ah did develop the vapors! Ah need the fainting couch you found earlier in the video!
Great Video, Just a gorgeous house and beautiful treasures left behind. Just awesome, Thanks BIG BANKZ, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND STAY SAFE AND WELL ❤❤❤
Every one of those dolls in that room were Madame Alexander dolls, which have lost alot of their worth due to over production, but the ones still in the boxes would be worth a bit. And that bigger doll laying downs stairs at the beginning of the video is a Baby First Step, she walks, from the early 60's. What an awesome place!
This was an amazing exploration! Beautiful home and antiques. I wished you had Edited out the part about the dead dog tangled up in a electrical cord ! That didn't have to be disclosed!!!
I had to reinstall everything on my computer but I was able to watch the premiere on my cell phone. Huge house with a bit of a leak but I'm happy to know that someone repaired it and it's being lived in.
Yes, I agree that I think of your southern houses, this is probably the coolest one you’ve found. I’m actually very glad to know that someone has taken this project on.
I have friends who lived in a beautiful 1873 Victorian farmhouse in MI and they moved a year ago. Their house still hasn't sold. I've always wondered how houses like this become uninhabited and then uninhabitable.

This house is so big and beautiful. It’s a shame that it’s sitting there and getting decayed and moldy all the dolls in this house are oh my gosh, I started collecting dolls like that for my daughters and and they don’t even want them these days are I just love this house?
The house is beautiful. The breakfast room with all the bevel glass in the built in China cabinet doors and huge beautiful bevel glass designed window was very beautiful. It was like crystal. The whole house shined with light used from mirrors, glass and chandeliers. And of course the church doll house was exceptional. Awesome.
All of these videos should remind us all that we can’t take it with us when we go. So cherish moments more than stuff. ❤
