Dude i have completely fell in love with Mumford and Sons. Roll away your stone, Awake My Soul, Lover of the Light are all fantastic songs that hit you in the musical feels
I used this song for my dad's celebration of life. He never heard of the band....could not comprehend the band. The congregation...in a good way...went wild!
I saw them twice the week they blew up in the UK. Sunday night in Nottingham in a tiny venue, The Bodega. Then again in Birmingham on the Wednesday. By then Little Lion Man had some hige radio play and tickets were being sold outside for £100 each. Haven't seen a band go stratospheric quite as fast as these guys did.
Marcus Mumford, (the lead singer), sang on Taylor Swift's album Evermore, on the song Cowboy Like Me....such a great performance at Red Rock, thanks Nick
This band is one of my favorites. They're so amazing! Highly recommend everything by them. Check out their live music video of Delta and their live Little Lion Man. Dust Bowl Dance is one of my favorites, but nobody reacts to it. I'm not sure if there's a good quality live video. 42, Slip Away, Thistle and Weed, and Snake Eyes are also great. I still listen to their first album, Sigh No More, all the time. It's my #1 by them. Their last album, Delta, is my second favorite. Every song is great. The lead singer, Marcus Mumford, released a solo album last year. I saw him in cincert for it, and it was one of the best concerts I've been to.
You must watch their live version of 'the cave' at SXSW whilst they were still only just trying to make it. A tiny stage Infront of about 30 people. It's amazing
I've been a fan since 2012 ish and its been a wild ride seeing mumford transition from the worship music scene, all the way to taylor swift. This album is seriously a staple in the culture, no skips
Gods, I miss this era of Mumford and sons. Sigh no more was a great album, but Babel is a no skip album. Pls do more. Thistle and weeds, Broken crown are a bit darker, Lover's eyes is a slower love ballad and Hopeless wonderer is full on energy boost.
The band didn't stand behind Winston Marshell when the media attacked him now he has a very successful podcast where he interviews very important people all over the world ... Wheel in the Sky by Journey is awesome and as a Canadian here I hope you give Jimmy Rankin a listen too , Slipping Away, he was part of the Rankin Family a real Canadian treasure they were a musical family from Cape Breton
You should check out Chickasaw Mudd Puppies something from *_8-Track Stomp_* preferably. Cicada, W.A.S.P., Moving So Fast, Superior, Oh Yeah, Shannon Loves Biscuit... I can't remember all the tracks right now, but they're the bomb, I promise. (Like RATM!)
I saw them in Waverly Iowa quite a few years ago. It was a two day festival that some farmer lent his land for everyone one to camp and set up shop. Most fun I've ever had.. they are such a power band especially when they use the brass. Marcus is a beast and he's really hot

Love thisgroup. Their lyrics have so much meaning. Especially the songs from this album.

You cant really see it very well but the singer is playing guitar and he plays the drums with his feet. They are amazing live!

You've heard parts of this song in the Home Free medley, Country Fried Pop.

.......The one where the banjo player is in the green Manchester united jersey
Yeah they're English and their style of music is English folk.
