I saw someone post a video of the physical Switch unboxing and it comes with the new patch on the card (v1.000.005). Is this the same for physical PS5 version and if so can you tell me if they fixed the water texture (too bright) and if there are any other notable improvements?
If you're not sure how to check version number, press menu on the icon and go to information, it should say a number that ends in 005 instead of 004.
Had a look for you - I can confirm the patch on my physical PS5 version is 1.000.005. In terms of the water effects, I'm not sure how they used to look before as this is my first time with the Remastered Edition. Hope this helps! 💪
@@AttyJ Thanks for checking! It sounds like it definitely is at least a slightly later version to what's currently available digitally. To be more specific, the water was unusually bright in remastered mode and didn't really fit in with the environmental lighting if that makes any sense? If you're struggling to see any issue with it it's a good sign that it's probably been fixed. I just hope they release this patch soon because I want to get back to playing and I've been holding off till they fix the water 😔

Is the next patch bringing a level selector?! It's the last thing needed for this remaster to be perfect. Any updates?!
It's rumoured that Patch 4 might add level selection but don't think it's confirmed. 🤔

@AttyJ I really appreciate the fact that you checked the track for me. Vertigo from Tomb Raider 2 is a missed opportunity! The track was featured in "Bartoli's Hideout" but it was really short. Nathan McCree extended it.
