Serious props to Aspyr for the remake series, Its clear that it was a bunch of passionate TR fans that made it. If only Crystal Dynamics was just as passionate about the OG Lara. Hopefully the newest title sees some return to classic tomb raiding.

It's a real bummer that Battlefront 1+2 remaster released in such a sorry state and gave Aspyr a sour reputation, there had to be something wrong with that development considering their good work they did with the TR trilogy.
It looks like the exploration booklet has beautiful art in it as well and not just the maps, which is a nice bonus! And it seems like it's printed on nice thick paper, which is really appreciated because no one likes thin paper

I know I'm going to cry (out of joy) the second I get my hands on Tomb Raider 4 remastered. Like the second I heard they were getting remastered, I really kinda felt "Yeah... My gaming journey is going to begin and end with this". TR4 is one of my favorite games of all time, and I'm really not a fan of the gaming industry as it is. The way it's going makes me really feel like gaming as we knew it is practically going to die very VERY soon. Once I get my hands on this, I really think that's it for me. I have 30+ years of games from the 5th-7th generation I have yet to touch, so I'll just stick with those, and maybe something new that catches my eye every so often. (or a remaster in the same vein as these for series I also enjoyed growing up, like the Soul Reaver remasters coming soon.)
agreed, I play since ZX spectrum and most of the new games are... BUT, there are good games out there. I dont remember em all, but all new DOOMs were good, I enjoyed both parts of Horizon (Zero dawn, Forbidden west) than the remakes of Residen evils were all good (one was bad) ofc the Tomb Raiders were good for me... Alien Isolation (we will get 2nd part..) Baldurs Gate 3... and many others, so its not THAT bad.
Wow the patch isn't even out yet for download. That's so nice that they included it on cart. I have the digital version and it says version 1.0.4 with no new update available. I guess the update becomes available tomorrow.
Patch #4 is NOT included in the cartridge or discs. The game still looks exactly like patch #3, with the same glitches and errors. There's no difference whatsoever. VERY disappointing.
Great video, and thanks for the final detail, many unboxing ignore that but it's actually the most important thing since we're talking about "definitive" physical editions. I'm also glad that besides the digital complete soundtracks we're getting a cd with a greatest hits. Yes, years ago we would've gotten 3 cds (God of War trilogy comes to mind) but this is a worthy compromise and I appreciate that they included it.

I bought mine on amazon and i havnt got a email saying they shipped my deluxe but i bought a copy on limited run games and that one has shipped so im waiting in the mail for that

I can't see the point of a steel box when the game comes in a standard box with it. This is what drives me up the wall with these modern collectors edition games.
Anyone knows if they will add a LEVEL SELECTOR with the next patch? To replay levels for secrets etc. It's the one thing missing and it's very strange it's not included yet

Yes, it's softcover but the paper is thick and should be ok, it's more sturdy than PSX booklets back from 90s.

Patch 3 is 1.0.4 so I assume 1.0.5 is the next patch.
It's legit. I have the digital version and it's still on 1.0.4 with no update available. This clearly says 1.0.5 so the new patch is on card.

The ps5 version didnt have inner artwork. I saw an unboxing for that. So i wouldn't count on it.
