Okay, Cinderella isn't my favorite Disney princess, but I will totally defend her. She is a victim of abuse, not a damsel in distress.
Maybe the person wrote the theory because they hate her.
Cinderella: *shows disliking to something shes been abusively forced into*
Random internet user : *She came straight out of hell!!*
Plus, she was manipulated by Lady Tremaine. The reason why she appeared “weak” was because she was kinda codependent to Lady Tremaine- a classic trademark of a manipulative relationship. She felt worthless, and since we see the story from Cinderella’s perspective that’s why she appeared this way. Say what you want about her, we see similar traits in Rapunzel from Tangled- Mother Gothel manipulated her into thinking that she couldn’t do anything for herself. She twisted her into thinking that she needed her and tried to make her codependent- just not as successfully as Lady Tremaine.

About Hans’ smile, supercarlinbros has a theory that he represents the mirror from the snow queen. He “reflects” people’s emotions and feelings, including Anna’s awkwardness in the boat scene. His smile came from mirroring Anna. It’s a pretty great theory and I stand by it

It's very similar to gaining aid through kindness in other fairytales. Baba Yaga comes to mind.
Besides, those mice save her. By being loving and kind she is helped. Only after a dress being made with love being torn apart summons the fairy godmother. In the end, it is the mice, birds, and dog who get her the key.

I kinda had the tiny horrible theory that Ernesto staged his death but it had WAY WAY different evidence.
I just kinda figured, he only had so many songs to work with if all of his music was stolen, right? He probably realised if he suddenly stopped “coming out” with new songs, either someone would catch on or everyone would be bored of him and the same songs over and over.
So he just. “Ok I’ll stage my death and then they can’t ask me to write more songs after I run out of what I’ve got here”

When I saw the De La Cruz theory in the thumbnail, it actually made sense to me. No, not the bs example the redditor gave in the video, but for another reason. Ernesto stole Hector’s songs, and needed them. They were essential to his fame. Because of this, once Hector’s book of songs ran out, this probably drove De La Cruz insane. He would have definitely tried to write new songs, but couldn’t get them to a level of popularity near songs like Remember Me. From here, he could have committed suicide onstage to put him out of his misery, and so that his memory as a great singer is even more positive than ever before.
I would also like to mention that the entire movie is about the important of your memory so he would have a lot of reason to trade life for his reputation.
I like how people in the comments can make better evidence for the theory than the actual person who wrote it.

I never thought of it that way, but it makes a lot a sense. I think that adds a new layer to his whole story and fits the movie perfectly.
That would make sense, but I still kind of find it hard to believe that someone would be willing to kill him. Payed off or not, he was still beloved by everyone, and I don't think there's enough money in the world to get someone to kill their favorite performer...

FYI: Cinderella saves a mouse in the mouse trap, there are no rats in the story, unless you count her family. Also Lucifer was being evil when he left prints on the floor Cinderella had just cleaned, so he deserved the threats.

Cinderella takes care of the house because she takes pride in her (and her fathers’) home. It was hers before the stepmother and sisters came along. She cares about it and all the animals in it (except for that evil cat)
What she actually hates is being treated like a second rate citizen by her step-family and the burden of the full weight of the household chores.
Anyone who thinks she’s evil has never read the source material or watched any of the many films 😅
Princess Sarah ( Japanese animation ) went through the same thing , she was abused by the people that she was surrounded with and treated her classmates as family like betty and the rest
Go watch the Anime , i think it's really cute and sad at the same time since Sarah didn't even knew her father died until his agent took everything from her , her books , her parrot , her Pony and so much more . Sarah was so sad and she only had Emily ( doll ) , the last thing that her father gave to her before he died.

Cinderella is my favorite too, for so many reasons. She wasn’t seeking a man, or waiting for one to come find her. She’s kind, which in my opinion is a strength that’s not praised enough in Hollywood. I suggest checking out a video called “stop blaming the victim”, it articulated a description of her so well.

Also there is no single original version but multiple versions in different parts of the world so which one are you talking about?

Speaking of dark movies, The Hunchback of Notre Dame was a dark movie but I thought it was pretty good. Loved the animation and soundtrack. Underrated movie

The villain’s character was so well done because there are people similar to him in real life. The movie is great and definitely underrated.

Its not the worst source of her parentage. At one point, she was gonna be a robot. But they could have done it better.
I like it better than her being a Skywalker or even a Kenobi, both of which offer less story to work with. But it was executed clunkily, and felt rushed and contradictory to The Last Jedi.

@@movieblocks9164 I just don't like movies ignoring or contradicting previous installments in general. Both films are very guilty of this, and it was my biggest problem with the Sequel Trilogy. But I also liked her being a no one.

I'm pretty sure Matpat gets some theory ideas from other people's posts. Its not necessarily "stealing" since he finds more evidence to support those theories, but he doesnt come up with some of them.

Hans wasn't originally intended to be a villain (though Anna was still gonna end up with Kristoff) and Elsa was so I think that might've been a hold over.
Bambi's a white tailed deer, Those are only native to North America and parts of South America I believe. So he could be Canadian but not French. Theory Debunked.
in the original book he was a roe deer, so maybe book Bambi was french, definitely not movie Bambi though

@@PinkMelatonin Frozen takes place around the end of the 1840s while the main events of Tarzan don’t take place until the late 1800s, shortly before the turn of the century. Rapunzel being Elsa and Anna’s cousin makes more sense, but Tarzan is no where near related.

Also the Hans theory is an old MatPat one that is actually much more comprehensive, entertaining, and yes, convincing. Its pretty popular to hate on MatPat for hundreds of reasons, but videos are fun, and thats an example of a very fun theory to observe.

As somebody who's read the frozen book I know for a fact Hans was scheming this years and years before Elsas coronation, his older brother told him about the kingdom or Arendelle and how Elsas coronation was soon. He spent years researching the kingdom, planning to marry Elsa but instead bumped into Anna, he did quite like her and thought she was stunning and kind hearted but was still none the less evil
I saw MatPats theory on Hans being “controlled” by the trolls. He made good points.

The "Hans was bewitched by the trolls" thing is a shipper theory if I've ever heard one. Probably people who wanted Anna with him so they've convinced themselves the trolls brainwashed Hans into being evil so Kristoff could have Anna. It's basically the Frozen version of Harry and Hermione shippers saying Ginny slipped Harry love potions.

That theory with Hans being manipulated by the trolls is actually a theory from film theory which I highly advise you watch they make some really great points!
Also the line where Gaston says, "I use antlers in all of my decorating" doesn't make sense with Bambi's mom because female deer do not have antlers.
My favorite is that if a toy from Toy Story dies Andy will just keep playing with it and all the other toys will just watch on as any plays with there dead friend!

I had heard a theory that Amos Slade might be the man that killed Bambi's mother. What do you think of that? It's probably slightly more plausible than Gaston having done it, given that Bambi's species was changed from the book to one native to the US, which implies that the film is set there, so that would rule out the Gaston theory. The Fox and the Hound does also appear to take place in the US, which at least makes it possible that Amos might be the culprit, although I don't know how much evidence there is for it otherwise
Yes I am not the only one who thought of the species thing! I prefer the fox and the hound theory. It makes a lot more sense to me both placement and time wise. Also Amos fits the theme of human negligence being the real criminal a lot better than pure Gaston villainy.
At least a lot more sense than a pre-revolution french peasant man traveling to North America to kill a deer rather than go to Africa or Asia where he could catch something that fit his ego like a lion or tiger.
The first one can be debunked just based on the fact Héctor’s body must have been hidden or burnt or something, because Imelda probably would’ve been much more forgiving if she realized he was murdered and didn’t just abandon her and Coco
