Damn, I'm trying to get my chisels half this sharp... Maybe I'll try to get some of those fancy Japanese videos to try out... Great work and informative, thanks for sharing.
Mind blogging craftsmanship The videos are a joy to watch but just like another viewer has mentioned if the end could be a second or two longer to admire the finished result, otherwise everything else is spot on. Thanks for sharing them with us
Fantastic work, you always make it look so easy. Could you make a video with the not so perfect joints just to make me feel better 😅 another great video.
Love the expertise workmanship. Could you do a video on your most used tools with links to purchase so that I may purchase to attempt making a simple box? It would be awesome if you had a video on how to apply the joints you show in a beginner project with plans. It is difficult to find good workmanship in the states, so I would like to learn how to craft my own furniture. Keep up the awesome work: the woodworking skills are great in addition to the video quality.
Wow!
Same here! It looks so simple and elegant online, and always turns out picture perfect… … but when I attempt much of anything, most of the time it ends up looking like a beaver f*cked it.
I believe that is not a skill issue for you guys, but it can be about the tools. To do this type of joints, the chisel need to be razor sharp, and the saw need to be pretty straight without croked teeth
@@EduCrossHands I’m pretty sure part of my problem is 1) no solid workbench, so I’m using a makeshift one, 2) I’m using very dense lumber, while it appears this man uses pine, and 3) I’m half restarted. It’s all on my mother’s side.
This is really wonderful, I'm amazed by your work 😮 I have two simple questions as a beginner in the field. It would be really great to get your answer on those 1) What are you using to clean fresh wood glue 2) what are you using as wax/oil to protect the wood ? Thank a lot

No.3, @3:28 In this case one schould not cut through until the end; the vertical fibers at the opposite edge can easily break out because they are not supported by following fibers. Cutting half way onto the middle and then from the opposite side will prevent a breakout. This especially on wood of less density or if your chisel is a bit less razor scharp than this great artist one's.
Hello. Your content is fascinating to watch! Beautiful craftsmanship. There is a scribing type tool that you use around the 13:58 mark. What type of tool is that and where can it be found?
Your hand saw you were using to trim off your round an square dowels what kind of saw was that an what tooth was it . We’re you holding it up off what you building. You did not keep it on the shot long enough to see . The reason I asked there was no tooth marks on your project. No unless you did not want us to see that for what ever reason. Also what pitch are your wood chisels.? Thanks

鋸&鑿
どれも手仕事の美しさが冴え渡ります😌✨
Would love it if the final shot for each joint held for more than 1 sec, id love to appreciate the craftsmanship a bit longer 🙏
In #9 you used the saw *itself* to offset the cut so your tenon didn't end up too small; ingenious!!
Eres realmente un genio. Gracias por compartirlo con nosotros. Un abrazo.
I love it bro, such a nice technique to work with wood! 🎉
Manual definitivo! Parabéns!
Please share some handheld powertool joinery ideas also. Handtools take out all the energy out of me

Unbelievably phenomenal skill set. I'm wondering why you didn't use a goose neck chisel on the #11 mortise.
Fantastic work, you always make it look so easy. Could you make a video with the not so perfect joints just to make me feel better 😅 another great video.

15mins per joint can only come from 30mins of sharpening those insane chisels

Если бы это был концерт - вызывал бы на БИС. Спасибо за НАУКУ.
Could someone tell me what that lil wheel scoring thing is called?
❤❤❤❤❤
The wood name is? Please, Nice Jobs
Why we need so difficult joints
Sok idő, nagy költség. Inkább már csak művészet.
電動のツールを使わないで手仕事でやってるほうが素人には参考になる

Tighter than a frog's butt, and that's waterproof.
👍
Sharp chisels
Can he build a bird house.........
FYI…electric drills aren’t “hand tools”. Just sayin’.
Neither are electric saws! Although I think the use of power tools is deliberate, so forgivable. 😊
A drill press is not a hand tool
