If we were to keep everything on a scaling power level to that of goat control the game would become around the "funness" level of vanguard - every deck doing their own thing to do exactly the same thing with linear games decided by good hands, I mean, magic has the rotating standard but yugioh has the power creep. I can't complain cause at least they manage to make generic stuff to kinda make everybody at the same power level but occasionally we see something that is dumb (Airblade, Teledad, DSF cat, wind-derps hand lerpers, and DRs). Even then, the game is perfectly fair and we can't really complain. At least konami simply made a banlist rather than spawning the devilworship that is the Magic Standard and Magic Modern format with a disparity line of around 500~800 dollars.
You couldnt be more right, konami is the only winner in any yugioh related thing. This is the reason I quit yugioh, but i still love to watch your videos :)

to me mermails and dark worlds are old already, plain old, and only mermails gained significant support in the past sets...
