I dont think the body block is the issue, its that they rescue right away without taking a hit or getting the hunter on a cooldown and the hunter knows which side of the chair to hit to get the instant down

If you rescue like this or if your forced to rescue like this because the hunter won’t hit you STAND ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CHAIR (the side the chaired person is on when they become untied) it sometimes forces the hunter to hit you instead! 😌

She should wait and take a hit before rescue even if i cross the line on chair because then i could change kite area and buy more time for them to decode
@@TonTon_IDV So you prefer a early after half rescue as long as they take the hit?. Doubt you would have kited longer than the used up chair time. If you were planning to use the tunning fork to get into factory, the hunter would get progress on latching onto you(maybe even get it fully on you since he has a fast hit recovery) and would have finished while you go to the pallet inside factory(if it's even still the) he would also have his crow and the ability to teleport to it. This was just unfortunate, the barmaid did good. The only better thing she could have done was rescue on the other side on the 1st rescue.

Whenever things like this happens when I save, it makes me feel so guilty since I often don't bring tide turner (I'm a decoder main) so whenever I'd go and rescue (and fail to bodyblock) all I can do is chat out "sorry.." which pretty much doesn't lesson the fact that I feel as though I failed my teammates :')
I wish we could see the whole process. At least she waited before attempting to rescue and tried to bait the hunter into hitting her. Sometimes this is bound to happen if the hunter refuses to hit the rescuer. Either the rescuer gets terror shocked at 49% (or 99%) because the hunter refused to hit after the rescuer's numerous tries to bait the hunter or the rescued survivor gets hit immediately after rescue.
Me and my friend came back so long to play for fun and we had been keep losing matches bc no one brought tide except for me and my friend. And, whenever we're the ones that died fast or rescued after line without tide...we got spammed "you're on your own". I'm convinced that at least me and my friend are brave enough to bring tide while getting chased other than these scaredy survs bringing 9 and that flywheel that half of ppl failed to use it properly.
well it's luck sometimes, you can't really blame if it's just a coincidence that it happened the same match + this strategy can be so good in the best case scenario, this vid obv is in the worse side of the odds
My god this happens to me ALL THE TIMES in elk tier as a Decoder & assist rescue main. Especially when I'm playing with RANDOMS, even in RANK MATCH. Most of the times i will always be the first one to kite and since i'm still bad at it, it's a guaranteed first chair at most after 4 ciphers left. And I'm ALWAYS the ONLY ONE to bring TT, so you can guess where this leads to the point where "You're on your own" is in my QC's top list and I'm on the brink of being an explorer main again, not caring about score as long as I'm still alive at least until endgame.
if you have problems with kite i recommend to watch a few more popular creators and use some of their tricks in the game, it helped me a lot in improving my gameplay
one thing i also suggest is to 1) be familiar hunter spawns and 2) don't underestimate hiding, especially if you find yourself running into the hunter / being first kite very often / are a decoder 👍 it's possible they might waste their time trying to find you
I hate when that happens too, but sometimes it's what you have to do to guarantee you rescue the person at all or before half. As long as this isn't done as an instant rescue, it's not that bad. Of course it's best to try and bait the hunter to hit, but some hunters just are wayyyy too patient and if you don't rescue like this, you either get terror shocked or lose the opportunity to rescue. So really depends on the situation. Tide however would have been nice on the contrary of what many people say, especially if this is the first ever rescue of someone on chair! It buys some very needed time, any second is important in a match, so yes tide is very much appreciated if things like this happen.
I hate the camping and targeting so much because i have to play characters i know i can escape easily with instead of the ones i actually wanna play 😭 i just wanna play minds eye again 😢
Atleast ur teammates never flopped a rescue by waiting till the hunter is fully charged to chip damage u and loose a good chance of winning after a 3C kite :>
Sometimes I accidentally end up doing that since I’m not fast enough to bodyblock- usually I don’t bring tide cos I have the luck of usually getting first chase but my teammates refuse to rescue. Like even over half nobody is going so I have to go and this happens 👹
It’s even worse when they early rescue like that, they’re just helping the hunter get rid of you faster. I’d appreciate it more if they spent their time decoding instead of rescuing like this
The first time i can understand, its better to rescue insthit than pass the limit bcs it will give the team more time to decode and it wont be worse for the person in the chair, althought the second rescue was so bad cause she had enought time to react

Some hunters will try to drag it out to the half line or until right before elimination, so they won’t hit that early on. If you encounter this type of hunter, then you really don’t have much of a choice. I also wouldn’t want to risk a terror shock right before half line/elimination

Since a few months ago. But Flywheel is a really strong trait, problem is it’s a trait for TIGHT KITERS and HARASSERS. NOT RESCUERS. It helps with getting away from a hit and it’s a clutch persona + it has many immunity effects during the dash that makes it favorable . Ex: Immune to Naiad puddle dmg, stuns, etc But srsly people should bring tide at least 1 per match. Also in the current meta multiple tide turners from 3 or 4 are less common cus the meta is about survivors supporting their teammates and harassing the hunter. Ex: Enchantress, Antiquarian, Batter, Female dancer Also since I play on Asia server there’s less of a chance that flywheels fail cus teammates know how to use it most of the time
came back a few weeks ago after a long break and its safe to say that a lot of people lack game sense now.. but competitiveness has also really decreased so maybe its that, impossible to rank up without a team due to randoms
